West End Kitchen & Bar

One of our favorite places in the area. Service is amazing and food is top notch. We have gone 6 or 7 times now haven't had a bad experience.

A very nice casual dining spot that does a great job of melding craft cocktails with a tasty bistro style menu. For our first dining experience here we ended up ordering the Truffle flat bread, beef sliders and Falafel burger and Boubon Smash cocktails. The truffle flatbread had brie cheese, onion, jam, mushroom, arugula and truffle oil that formed a wonderful combination that was oh so tasty and our favorite of what we ate. The slider had three small burgers made from Snake River Farms beef (well known beef distributor that is nationally recognized) that was well cooked and very tasty where the beef is cooked to a medium doneness (if Well cooked is desired , needs to be ordered that way). Lastly The falafel burger was great as well according to my wife.The Bourbon Smash cocktail had a unique spin to what I usually make where it had Blueberry and lemons as part of its components that gave it a unique flavor profile. The cocktail though well made, was a tad sweet for my tastes and could have used a tad more mint in my opinion.Relative to facility, it is modern, clean with a comfy vibe with lowered lighting adding a touch of class to the business. Defeninatly a good spot for a romantic/date night meal. Staff was super friendly where they operate on a slower pace giving you more time to enjoy the experience which I can see being a plus or a minus depending on if you are in a rush or just want to relax and enjoy the experience. Overall a very nice business that hits on all cylinders where we will be returning in the near future. Definately a place to consider if you are in the area and if you like flat bread pizza's you absolutely have to try the truffle flatbread here. You will not be disappointed!

This has to be one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. The staff, esp the bartenders are so nice!!! I typically sit at the bar. The food is great! I typically get the Mediterranean salad chopped, the steak bites and the Brussels. All so delicious. Drinks! Well balanced!! Some are a little sweet but because I sit at the bar I just tell them and they happily make it to my liking! The place us such a vibe! Good energy, spacious, and just a great place to go. I go with family and I go with friends. The place is a real gem!

We were looking for a place that was open late on a weeknight, and West End was open until 1:00a.m., so we decided to check it out. First of all, it was SO loud! We were sitting at a small table for 2 and had to shout to talk to each other. We also realized that we were not the proper demographic for this restaurant; we could easily have been the parents -- or perhaps grandparents -- of most of the clientele and waitstaff.On to the food. There were not a lot of choices. I had a chicken sandwich that came with shoestring fries. My sister had a flatbread. My sandwich was ok for me, but by any other standards, it was very dry. (I'm just odd that I don't mind dry chicken.) My sister got the flatbread with arugula. It had too much arugula for her, but all of the other flatbreads were too spicy. And, my fries were spicy as well.It seemed that the staff was new; they were walking around but not engaging with customers at all. Our server saw that we were done but he walked by us several times before we could ask him for the bill.I suppose if you're young and like loud atmospheres, this was fine. But it was not our cup of tea.

This restaurant has its own parking, and I believe it also offers valet. We went in a large group of approximately 20 people, and the service was still very good. We had multiple people waiting on us. The appetizers were really good and the desserts were really good. The entrée I had which was the barrio pasta which is OK I probably wouldn't get it again. I do believe that everyone was happy that got the fillet. Would definitely return again given the opportunity.

Good food, good service, and appealing ambiance combine to make West End Kitchen and Bar a great spot to eat. Between the three of us, we had the rigatoni, the filet, and the Caesar salad along with two cocktails and a mocktail. Everything was to our liking. Oh, and we ordered the steak with fries, and the fries were great!

Stopped in New Year's Eve, grabbed a seat at the bar with the wife. The manager offered us a private seat that was more intimate. We accepted and settled in for the year's turn. They had live music, the food was great, hot and timely. At 12 the bartender brings us complimentary champagne and we celebrate. The experience was perfect. I thanked management for being open(as most restaurants were closed).

I've been to West End quite a few times and have enjoyed myself every time. Typically I will sit at the bar and the service is always wonderful. The drinks are good and strong. This last time we got a couple shareable plates. The buffalo shrimp, the truffle fries, and the Mykonos flatbread were all very delicious. They also have a really great happy hour if you're looking for a place to go after work.

Ordered a carry out this evening and unfortunately was very disappointed. Ordered a Caesar salad and received something that was just lettuce and Parmesan cheese. No kale, lemon, or croutons like stated on the menu. They also gave me the incorrect dressing so I didn't even have Caesar dressing. I ended up having to add ranch to the salad at home (as pictured below.)Spicy rigatoni was good, but the portion was incredibly small for the price. Probably won't be returning.

I've been to West End many times and this was the worse service I've had during all of my visits. After two hours we were not even given a water when sitting at the bar. At one point I asked another server behind the bars if we could get a glass of water; she said yes and never came back. I had one sip of the cocktail made for me which tasted horrible. Never once did the bartender ask if I liked the drink , even though at the conclusion of our meal it was still full. Despite my meal being fine I would not go back based on service alone. While the location is convenient for me, in the future I'll choose to drive further to have a better experience. I won't be recommending this restaurant.
