I ordered the house omelette with no ham sub American cheese with a side of bacon. The omelette was prepared accordingly and it was the perfect portion. Hash browns were undercooked and the toast was not evenly buttered. The side of bacon was outstanding- crispy and also a very generous portion.

Had a great breakfast. The ham was delicious and wasn't salty, which I appreciate. We were in the area, so this was a convenient place to stop. The service was friendly, and so were the other patrons. The menu was pretty standard, but they had something for everyone. I recommend stopping in for a hearty breakfast in a friendly atmosphere

I grew up in Waterford, but left after high school. Any time I return to visit, this is my go to breakfast place (along with Shelby Donut and Coney). Great food, amazingly large menu for such a cozy place. Mon - Thurs $4.99 breakfast and $1.99 Coney Dogs is a great value! Excellent food, great prices, friendly staff.

Great food! Had the breakfast burrito (not sure it's even on the menu, but they made one for me) it was delicious, my wife had French toast and a side of biscuits and gravy, all delicious and fresh. Beware of Kate the waitress... she bites! Just kidding, she was sweet and a little spicy, awesome waitress!

At the end of the street where Jamie W.'s parents live is this bustling shoebox of a diner. I couldn't help noticing the place every time we drove anywhere, and I also noticed that what seemed like half the restaurants in the greater Detroit metropolitan area have "Coney Island" in their names. They sure love their dogs with ground meat sauce in this neck of the woods. Jamie and I were taking a walk around his childhood 'hood when we decided to get some food to take back to the house.Right away we noticed the $6.95 Senior Special Dinners which I thought we should tell Jamie's parents about (photo: http://bit.ly/2KGHU3a). He said they knew already. I think I'm getting close to qualifying for that deal myself. Score. Anyway, Jamie decided to get the $7.70 Chef's Salad with ham, turkey, American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cucumbers, and a hard-boiled egg with ranch dressing on the side (photo: http://bit.ly/2QprAcm). It was salad made the classic diner way, straight up and no bull.I decided to get the $3.85 Mini Greek Salad which was an especially good deal with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, a big onion slice, pepperoncini, olives, and feta cheese added to the mix (photo: http://bit.ly/2E2tJVD). It was just the right amount of food before heading to the airport where I knew dishes not no options would be limited. Other than the server girls occasionally being a bit pushy/flirty (if you know what I mean) with my male partner, the food is always great and they have really good breakfasts. The eggs and hashbrowns always taste fresh and the service is almost always good. It's a very tiny place so if you are claustrophobic then you will not be happy and sometimes have a long wait, BUT, it is worth it because they have good food. I really like coming here and so does my family especially since we're locals. Definitely one of my favorite spots for breakfast in the area!
