Washington Street Wine House

Always pleased visiting the wine house. The girls are so nice. I make it a point to stop in during the farmers' market on Sundays so I can walk around the vendors with my wine They have wine slushies that are great for anyone who isn't a fan of wine. They also have a great selection of keepsakes, glasses, and decor for many occasions that make perfect gifts!

Well, who would have guessed there was such a delightful little emporium right in our local area with a delightful array of so many interesting finds! AND the wine slushes are yummy!!!!! What a great place to meet up with friends, do a little shopping and taste some really great wine! And the shop owner is delightful as well! You won't be disappointed !!!!

We had just flown in from Tampa on our way up north to see family. Stopped in to get a few bottles of wine and fell in love with this wine house. Did some wine tasting and bought a few bottles. Really nice owner. We think this will have to be a must do tradition from now on.

This place fits the description of a hidden gem! Right when I walked in I felt like I was up north near Traverse City area- although it for sure helped that it was a hot summer day when I first checked this place out! It's located in New Baltimore. You can't beat the location with it being right near the water. Also has a play area for kids- makes for a great family fun day outing! I ordered a Frosè that costed $7- cup size was tiny and they only have the one size but I went for the atmosphere as well! Very satisfied after stumbling across Washington Street Wine House because prior to this visit I had never heard of this winery before! I'd be curious to see how this small business does in the winter time/if they stay open year round. Almost forgot to mention they have the cutest items for sale that all have the common cozy theme going on. Love it!

Such a cute little wine spot. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about what they were pouring. They also able to make great recommendations for where to start based off your wine pallet preferences since everything in there list sounded & tasted amazing. Even showed & explained the difference between serving the bottle chilled or at room temp. Aside from wine there was also a lot of cute decor to buy. I also appreciated how the staff had so many recommendations to eat & do in the New Baltimore downtown area (which were also amazing. Definitely plan on coming back. It will be great to explore the area when weather is great.

I loved this little place near the lake. Great spot- I am surprised more people don't know about this place. My parents lives nearby and took us there. It feels more like a shop than a winery and there aren't many places to sit. But you can try all of their wines before you buy a bottle. So we hung out for 15-20 minutes and tried some that sounded interesting, then we bought a bottle of the one my wife and I agreed on.My wife wasn't as keen on the wines offered here as I was. I tend toward more sweet/fruit wines and she likes the dry reds, so there wasn't as much for her to enjoy. The bottle prices are quite reasonable.Other than I wish it had more of a winery atmosphere with more tables and more inviting space to sit and hang around, I really liked it. I think with more advertising, events, and promoting, and some slight changes to the layout of their tasting room, this place could do very well! I don't know, maybe they do very well already and don't need to make any changes!We would go back for a tasting and another bottle or two again when we're in the area.

The variety of Wines and the service and the Ambiance!!I would go back because it was so crowded when I went that I didn't get a chance to look at everything. They had some really nice things to buy as gifts from what I could see.

We were coming out of restaurant walking to our vehicle in downtown ,New Baltimore, and stopped in wine bar. Diane offered each of us a taste test, myWife is the wine drinker, after several test she liked the "Rumor"and the "Red Stiletto. They were very fair price, Diane had an assistant that was very helpful. My wife and daughter will definitely return, they make wine at the store. Even though I'm not a wine drinker, l enjoyed the other items.

Such a wonderful small town business. I go here for their amazing wine selection, but also for special gifts for special people. I love the custom wine bottle labels that the offer, the staff is always helpful and friendly.

Great service, super wines, fantastic atmosphere. We love going there after dinner for a drink or two. And we always end up bringing home a case (or more).
