Wasabi is a go-to for me in Detroit if I'm looking for decent priced sushi or bibimbap. The interior space is pretty nice and the service is always really friendly. The menu is pretty extensive, so there's a lot of options to choose from. I usually stick to sharing a sushi roll and then ordering the bibimbap, but there's definitely a lot to choose from. It's not as upscale as other sushi places in the area, but I think it's great as a more affordable alternative.

If you want extremely affordable, high quality sushi, go here. This is not only the best quality sushi in the area, it is somehow the most affordable when it comes to the basic rolls (tuna avocado roll, salmon roll etc.).Like it is cheaper than rolls from a Grocery Store with far far greater quality! I think they're able to do this because of their very, very low overhead.Whenever I want sushi, I come here, and am never disappointed. One of the best values in all of Detroit!P.S. They'll let you sit in the back of the restaurant for a take out order if you ask

I am so surprised and saddened that the door dash delivery I just had today was not even half as good as the first time I ate at Wasabi restaurant last Sunday. I ordered the same veg fried rice, paying for organic brown rice. I specifically asked for Spice level to be hot, but, what I received seemed to have none. How does this happen? Also found their email to me explained that due to 'special order request' suppose asking for spicy heat to it, again like I had in house last Sunday, they are adding $6.41, now $60. Insult to injury! I'll add my own veggies to each of 2 meals this week. At least the Dragon Roll was decent. Sadly, not worth trying again,

Portion sizes are huge, especially for the entrees. I ordered their galbi, ate my fill then had enough to have for two more meals afterwards. If you ask, they will give you a side of kimchi! I think they opened recently or are going through a remodel so don't be thrown off by some of the clutter inside. This is a great spot for homey Korean food.

Came here for dinner and it was a pretty interesting experience. My partner and I dined in and were taken to the seating out of the restaurant. We've never been here before so we were quite confused. There was a lobby and shop near by. The waitress asked if we wanted any drinks or miso soup to start, my partner asked for water. This is the first time, I think, where we were ever charged for getting water when dined in. In their defense, they did give us a water bottle, but that was kind of funny. Food was pricey. We usually get rainbow rolls at sushi restaurants but here it's about $18 for the roll. We ended up ordering the spicy Cali roll, Alaskan roll, and the pork katsu. Our order came in to go boxes. We were confused to be honest. Waitress was nice, but only brought us our food. We had to throw away our own trash when we were done. Went in to paid afterwards. Didn't really felt like a normal dine in restaurant, more like a place you order and an option to sit near by to eat. Food was pleasantly good though! Pork katsu wss pricey but the portion was generous. Definitely my favorite and I would order the same thing again. The sushi rolls hit the spot as well. Close walk from the DIA, nice location. Pricey but would recommend.

I live in the area and had been curious about this place. From the outside it looks like it would be a nice sitdown restaurant. I was not expecting the dining room to be full of restaurant supplies and boxes. There is somewhere you can sit in the hallway if you want to dine in, but it's a bit odd. I thought the food was very good and very reasonably priced. The service was very accommodating and pleasant.

Low key, I love this joint. It's pricy especially if you use an app to have food delivered. The inside is small and not sure if it's still carry out only. The Kimchi Chigae I highly recommend. Parking is there. In and out on the side next to the DIA. For one roll, the soup I recommended, and maybe an app you are looking close to 50 dollars so this is expensive. Cannot comment on service as mentioned I don't think this place has had indoor seating since before the panny. Worth a try. Just pricy.

I was hanging out in the downtown area for 313 Day and stopped in for sushi. The service by Sarah was good. She was courteous, friendly and attentive. An artist too who drew a caricature of us. It's got a quaint atmosphere. I ordered the Firecracker roll, shrimp tempura roll, CA roll and a ramen bowl. The rolls were decent. My daughter liked her ramen although it was spicy. They didn't have low sodium soy which I prefer as regular soy is too salty to me. I would go back. Would I go out of my way to? Not so much.

We are still currently mid-meal but couldn't wait to leave a review!! My partner and I travel all over the states quite often and always make it a point to visit all the sushi joints. This restaurant is beautiful, everyone is so professional and kind, we just love Flor, our waitress tonight! With the *profound* number of sushi restaurants we have visited, Wasabi Cuisine has the most top-notch saki and miso. Before our meal even came we were incredibly impressed by not only the hospitality but the incredible start of our beautiful date with our drinks and appetizer. The sushi/sashimi cannot be beaten!! Highly recommend the king crab and octopus sashimi, phenomenal, best we've ever had, extremely fresh and not as chewy as many we've had before. The octopus And king crab are the only things we've tasted as of yet- we have quite a huge platter here and will update soon!!!
