Disappointing is what sums up this visit. It is a subpar version of Benihana or any other hibachi restaurant. They must have customers because of the location solely because it's not the food or staff. First and last time visiting. The wait staff was super slow and seemed clueless. She rushed taking orders and menus. Didn't check back to see if anyone needed anything else. Nor did she return to get the salad or soup bowls in a timely fashion. The spot is small so having all that there was cramped. The kitchen did not get my order right that was cooked in the back. The chef didn't cook the food to order at the hibachi.Leaving out and decided to use the bathroom which was disgusting. I wish we had went there first because we would have not dined here. Management was nonexistent when I asked for them twice. They have a mandatory 18% gratuity, which would be fine if the service was remotely decent. They also charge a fee for credit cards which is only noted when the bill is provided. The staff took my credit card and was gone forever. At least 10 mins went by and we see her serving salads to another area and still no bills. Another staff bright the bills and cards back. Save time. Don't go here. Drive to Benihana or another steakhouse if any kind. Spent over $200 to have poor service, food and not a great experience. It should not be that hard. Even if they were busy, staff could have stayed that or at minimum charged the cards, cashed out the other bills and brought it right back.I enjoyed my dining party and that was it. Sorry I even suggested here after looking at google reviews.

In short:Service: 0/5Atmosphere: 0/5Food: 2.5/5The long of it:So first, it's a bit darker then other steakhouses. No real entertainment going for those waiting for food or to be seated. Couldn't even bother to turn a TV on. The bar area was not staffed: that waiter was pulling double duty. I knew right there it was gonna be a long night...Didn't expect THIS though! Arrived around 6 fire the reservation (birthday party is 12). Not everyone was there yet so we waited, forced to make dry, unlubricated conversation which I am not a fan of.Got enough of our party to be seated at 6:45ish and courted to a table near the back. Hey there's a stack of insulation in the corner, just cause I guess. Waited for our waiter, who did not seem up to the task for general service. Took way too long to get basic drinks to the table (sake, margaritas..I mean). After constant back and forth by the wait staff, who in all seriousness was severely understaffed for a WEDNESDAY, my cousin got up to help! Grabbing drinks, making sure orders were correct. She should've got the tip money TBH.Soup and salad came right before service at 9:20! Mind you, the place closes at 10. The chef was nice enough but was very confused by how the order was taken, and way too energetic with people waiting 3 hours to eat. There was a whole broccoli incident, food flying everywhere and right in one party's eye when they weren't looking.Food on the whole wasn't the best. The fried rice was probably the highlight. The chef put teriyaki sauce on lobster, which NO ONE wanted, and brought all of us right back into the abyss. In the end, 15% was taken off of everyone's bills, but that wasn't nearly enough for what all happened In seriousness, yes for service industry is getting hit hard with rising costs and shrinking staff. I still can't excuse what happened. You adjust and adapt to changes, but it felt here like they had just given up. It may get better, but I'll never find out.

I wish I had good news... we had reservations for 10 at 8pm. We arrived on time but was sat 15 mins later. Didn't see a waiter until 8:35 to collect drink orders. We waited another HOUR before the chef came to cook. So the time now is 9:35... we've been here an hour and half at this point. Soup and salad was good, there's the highlight. Chef seemed very confused by how the order was taken and continued to ask who had what the entire process. 3 of us ordered chicken... chef started packing up with no chicken in sight. Whoever prepared his cart left off the chicken. The time is now 10:20... and he's cooking chicken. The chef was very energetic but we were so tired of waiting that we couldn't even appreciate his "comedic timing" and food throwing. All in all, it's a no. They need more staff. The food was decent though.

Had reservations but arrived to a restaurant in chaos. There was no communication about the delays and after 45 minutes of waiting they told another group that they were holding tables for a party of 38. We left as no one at the host stand could let us know how long it would be or when we might have a table. Very disappointing as we really liked this restaurant in the past but horrible front of house makes me not want to return.

The Food was decent. Went there for lunch with the family. The wife didn't like it thought it was a lil dirty. It was our first time at a hibachi so didn't know what to expect. The cook was friendly. Wasn't great but wasn't bad either

I was going back through old reviews of mine and saw we've been coming here for 9 years! At this point we do many of our birthday dinners here, and we invite our friends out to dinner here also.Thank you to the staff at Wasabi for providing us with years of great food and fond memories. Our whole family can't wait to come back.

Had reservations for 6:30 pm Sat December 14 large party of 24. waited 21/2 hours to be seated after being seated the waitress was overwhelmed with the large amount of people so she was continuously messing up orders. After Chef comes out to cook the hibachi he was concentrating on doing tricks on the grill at that point we wasn't interested in the tricks we were hungry keep in mind now we've been here for over three hours the Chef gets angry and packs up and walks out. After all of the time we waited we only had soup and salad because the chef couldn't handle the large group. Never again will I go back. They are not equipped to handle large groups and no management on the premise, Service totally horrible.

Tried to eat at Wasabi today, I showed up about 10 minutes after they opened, we were the first people in. We were sat and about 15-20 minutes later they sat two more people with us, an additional 15 minutes after that another two people were sat with us. We continued to wait, and after another 25 minutes had passed they still hadn't began cooking our food. We left because we were on a lunch break and couldn't spend 2+ hours for lunch. This was a very disappointing experience.
