I know my review is going to get lost in the sea of 5 stars. We decided to explore and remember good old times and play some darts, apparently bars that have darts is hard to come by, so this establishment was chosen for all the wonderful reviews and close proximity to downtown Northville.Saturday at 7pm was not too busy, mainly older couples having dinner. Sat in the corner with a group of 5 of us close to the darts and pool table. No waitress in sight, asked a bartender for a waitress, a solid 10 minutes later we got our waitress that was showing with all her presence how annoyed she is with us, been there or who knows what else. Ordered drinks and food, after it arrived, never came back to ask if we wanted anything else or another round of drinks, which we had to order from the bar, cashed out at the bar as well.Food was great burgers, waffle fries, onion rings and chili 5 star. Dive bar with good food, darts, pool table and mediocre service at best that ruins it.

If you're in Northville and want cheap drinks, great burgers, and awesome homemade Spoke corned beef sandwiches with waffle fries, this dive bar is the place! You can even play pool and darts while you wait for your food. Our service started off slow with a waitress who seemed uninterested, but the bartender saved the night by stepping in and making sure we got our drinks and food after our waitress disappeared. Despite the hiccup, the relaxed atmosphere and fantastic food make it worth a visit!

I love the Wheel! I've been coming here since 2000 and it hasn't changed much. The food is good, the ambiance is pure dive bar, making it a dying breed. The staff is wonderful.

So when reviewing a new place, I tend to start with standard, hard to screw up, food items. Chicken fingers for example. If a place has bad chicken fingers, there's little hope for other items.With Wagon Wheel I started with a timeless, classic, burger. And I was very happy with it.If you want some bizarre burger with an unusual combination of items and cheeses or some odd mixture of meat, this is maybe not the spot. But if you want a good ol burger, my experience was very good.One thing they nailed was the meat itself and the seasoning. They also have a very good buttered bun. The seasoning was dead on and it's surprising how many places get this wrong. I also really like the size of their burger. It's not small and won't leave you hungry, but it's not one of those obnoxiously large and impossible to eat burgers that leave a terrible mess on you and the plate and are a challenge to eat. All the toppings are fresh and crunchy as well.It's just a damn good burger. The service was also prompt and very friendly.Additionally, I really like the divey atmosphere. It's very non-pretentious and reminds me of the places in my smaller hometown.I'll be back to try different food items, but my initial perception is very very good. I loved my experience. I loved my food. And I look forward to going back.

Hadn't been to the Wagon Wheel for ages - didn't like the rude Host they had on Friday and Saturday for Karaoke. Well, he's gone, and the woman who replaced him is great! Although I'm 74, one of the oldest people there, I had good reactions to both songs I did: The Greatest Love Story and Father Figure. I think I was in great voice last night, and the audience let me know that they appreciated me. Additionally, the songs done by others included quite a few favorites of mine: Don't Stop Believin' What's Up/ What's Goin' On, Friends in Low Places, etc.

Been there twice and happy with the food, drinks and atmosphere both times. It's dark and dungy like a good dive bar.

Went for karaoke with friends, but will go back for the food. We had the bosco sticks, ugly fries, and a cup of chili. Pretty sure that was the best chili I've ever had. Just typing this has my mouth salvaging for more. It was great and hearty and I will be back!

Love the staff! Food is all fresh made! Wiggly corn beef! Happy place a good place to meet friendly people!

Same creeky rear entrance screen door for the past 40 years, check. Same dirty floor, check. Same unlevel bar pool tables, check. Same bumper pool table as I played at the boys club back in the 70s, check. What's not to like. The Wagon Wheel has been a staple in Northville for years, great burgers, and great fish and chips on Friday fish fry. Great Place!
