Ordered a small simple baptism cake and it was super cute, great price and very tasty. When I called only a week before the staff was very friendly and helpful. When I picked it up they were again very friendly. Everyone loved the cake! I can't wait to order another one for my next event!

Love Vito's! This was our first time at their Washington location & it's just as good as the Clinton Twp. I always get the muffaletta slice cut in half because they are HUGE The coconut cake is always a fun little treat too

Vito's Bakery is now Open in Washington Twp. Located at the north west corner of 26 Mile and Van Dyke, it's kinda hard to spot. For reference, it's in the Rite Aid strip mall, best door to Detroit Wing Company. The parking lot is a cluster f-word. Be careful pulling in and out and finding a spot, it's tight quarters. I'm certain I'm not the only one who's been eagerly awaiting for this place to open. The original Vito's had been around since 1970- yes, over 50 years! If your Sicilian or Italian Vito's was/is a staple name in your house. If you live in the surrounding area, then you too are familiar with this name. Traditional recipes like cannoli's, cassata cakes, Italian butter cookies, muffalettas and delicious old style treats are just a few things they offer. They sell items so quickly that you're always guaranteed fresh products. I've been eating Vito's quality products since before I can remember. I have pictures from my baptism with a table FULL of desserts, bread and rolls at my Sicilian grandmothers house. I stopped into the new Washington location on 1/14/22 at around 11am. It was easy for me to find because I pass it multiple times a day, living in the area. Parking lot is my archnemesis- literally. Be careful. When I walked in it had a bistro feel, white and black tile floor, clean and bright lighting. Definitely a up grade from the original Clinton Twp. location. There was 1 table to seat 2 people inside. What's 1 table going to do? I couldn't figure that out. Either offer a few tables for patrons or offer nine at all. One 2-top table is just strange to me. Anyway...I came in for 2 items, slices of pizza for the kids and donuts. Would you believe it- they had neither of the items. What!? Sold out of donuts by 11am?? No pizza available at 11am? I didn't even see a sign for the pizza, so maybe they don't even sell it here. That would just be odd because their pizza is a hot seller at the original location. They did have their also famous muffuletta and Spinguini. If you've never had Spinguini- you're missing out! You MUST try this once in your life! Vito's make this authentic Sicilian Pizza similar to a Focaccia or Pizza Bread. Topped with Tomatoes, Sweet Onions and Casciocavallo Cheese. Sprinkled with a Sicilian breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture. True spinguini is supposed to have anchovies but you'll have to add those at home if you want them. In short, my 1st visit was a bust. I came in for donuts and pizza but left empty handed, as they had neither. I'm a fan of this business, and obviously the original location. I'll give this new location another try and hopefully I'll be able to up my stars.

Unfortunately I experienced an issue over the holiday weekend (7/4/2024) at the Washington location. I had preordered a cake for my mom's 70th birthday and received someone else's cake. I was pretty upset HOWEVER the manager went out of her way to make it right and at the end of the day, my confidence and loyalty in this bakery was completely restored! I apologize for the late review tho, i really do appreciate the help I received from this location and wouldn't hesitate to use their services for our next family gathering.

Such a cute place! It was clean, they had a variety of desserts to pick from - we picked up for Easter as a gift - and the staff was warm and friendly! I highly recommend!

I live right around the corner from Vito's so I have been in there multiple times since opening. They did a nice job with the decor and love the bistro feel. My family has tried and love their donuts, danishes, and muffuletta. Also, to note they don't serve pizza at this location. I guess they're not allowed to because there's already a Little Caesars in the plaza.

Fantastic baked goods. Patronized Vito's when I lived in Clinton TWP. We moved to Washington TWP and was so glad they opened another location. There are no other good bakeries around here. So glad they are here.
