Village Wine Shop

This is one of those great local businesses with a friendly owner and helpful and knowledgeable staff. Not only do they have a great selection of wines, they have an impressive liquor collection too. Don't be intimidated by all the choices of wine, they will be happy to help you pick out something in your type & price range. The prices are not outrageous, but in line with the caliber of the wine you are buying. You can splurge if you want to, but you can also get something for everyday without breaking the bank. I did a wine tasting here and I was really impressed with how knowledgable Zack the owner was not only about wine and the different types, but the different regions around the world and the grapes that go into making a wine taste like it does. He also taught us about oak barrels and how that imparts flavor. And finally he shared some of the history of the area which was fun.Definitely go here if you need some wine, liquor or beer!

I was here for a tasting and I really enjoyed the experience. The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and funny. Despite how knowledgable he is it never comes off as intimidating in any way. It seems that he truly enjoys talking to people about wine and helping them discover their likes. This is the type of business you can't help but want to support. Will definitely stop by for a couple of bottles whenever I am in the area.

Amazing selection of craft beer and Zack is an awesome person to have a conversation with about all the beer and bourbon.

Great selection, friendly staff, and most importantly knowledgeable staff. I'm big on red wines and bourbon. They have it all. They even get great store pick pretty frequently. They carry Eagle Rare and, when they do have it, it's the lowest price around. Great store highly recommend

Great little shop with a friendly and helpful staff. Ample selection of beer, wine, liquor and more. Staff is always good for a recommendation. The shop also has a small humidor with a sampling of cigars. The staff is also willing to take requests and try to get you limited or hard to find items. Plus, they even have a nice variety for non-alcoholic beers for moms-to-be or people avoiding alcohol- more than just O'douls!

I've been here 4 times now since moving into the neighborhood, and the staff has been great every time. Everyone has a smile and a hello, and recommendations. Great selection, too. Plus, big bonus! I pointed out an old price on a product and they've continued to honor it even though the new pricing is now clearly labeled on it. Great business practices, I'll continue to shop here.

This place is amazing. Zack went above and beyond! He helped me customize a delivery of champagne and rosè for my clients - and even volunteered to go pick up a card! Talk about customer service. He was super helpful, friendly and made this process so easy. I will absolutely use this place in the future for any wine/liquor delivery.

Smaller wine selection but very nice labels to chose from. They sell my brandy which is a plus. Excellent customer service. Unlike Wood's, Village Wine Shop isn't afraid to step out onto the sale floor to help customers!Pricey but the quality of service earns that!

Awesome experience! Zack helped pick out all of the bar items for our party and then delivered them with perfect timing! Super friendly and helpful staff!
