Village Pub

Very fun atmosphere. Our server, Jessica, was very attentive, sweet and efficient. She gave us some good recommendations too. She mentioned she had recently started working but ate here before. We chose the beef nachos and of course a couple of drinks. I definitely will go back again. The patio was nice on such a beautiful day. Keep up the good work all!

Service is always nice and the drinks were reasonably priced. The Ruben was so delicious! The meat was juicy and the portions were perfect.

Stopped in here Sunday 01/25/14 for a bite to eat. Had the Pub Corned Beef Sandwich, grilled on Rye. It was far beyond my expectations. Waitress told me it was cut from a slow cooker Corned Beef, no lunch meat. She was right. It was wonderfully piled on thickly with sauerkraut and 1000 Island Dressing. There was "swiss cheese" on it as well. I would guess it was processed swiss cheese by the way it was melted and the way it looked. That was a bit disappointing. Each sandwich came with a bag of Better Made Chips (plain or BBQ).My friend had their 3/4# burger. Looked like a hand formed patty, not a frozen puck. He liked it. Waitress was very friendly and involved with us, but not overly. She seemed to really want to make sure we enjoyed the food. I'd stop by again.

This place has a great atmosphere. The bartender Denise was awesome! She is fast and makes a great drink!!

Laid back atmosphere, good food and drinks. All the necessities! They take cash or card and are friendly.

It's Ortonville's version of Cheers. Everybody knows each other and they're always willing to chat and share a story. I love this place!

Lousy! Based on our first (and last) experience, if you're not a townie, you get awful service and gross food. The burger was inedible. It smelled like the ground beef was way past expiration, and the bun was a Kroger clearance special that was practically stale. The potato wedges were lukewarm, soggy and greasy. I don't recommend.

At 1 PM the owner told me nobody under 21 is allowed in any bar in Michigan, and that it's state law. I told her no it's not and she yelled at me and told me that if she ever sees me again that she's calling the cops for trespassing. I just wanted some pub-sticks.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I went out for the Witch Walk today and stopped by the pub for a beer for my husband and to say hi to a friend that was inside. After ordering the beer and walking literally RIGHT outside the door to where my husband and baby were to give him the beer to go back in with and grab the baby from him (because I wasn't bringing my baby in a pub or leaving the $8.25 beer unattended in a bar) the supposed owner (elderly woman) standing at the door ATTACKED me and intentionally spilled the beer all over me in the freezing cold. Then proceeded to scream at me as we were walking away to "never come back," in quite a cowardly fashion, as she had to say this from halfway down the street after walking past her. I honestly think she was drunk out of her mind. Rest assured, nor I or my family will be back for the flat beer or horrible service.

The Pub Has Great food, Drinks and Great service. Hometown feel. Great place to Relax and have a Good Time and an Outdoor patio too with lots of seating, Friendly People. Everyone is always Welcome.
