Victoria's Delights

This place is busy and small so be prepared to wait BUT it's well worth it! When you're waiting the host will take your drink order and bring it to you which is cool! I liked not having to wait at the bar and could chill while waiting. It took us probably max 30 minutes to get a table. The food was delicious!! We got the Housemade Macaroni au Fromage and the Pasta Saint Tropez with chicken. We dove in so fast I forgot to take a picture but they both were delicious! My favorite was the Saint Tropez because it was a lighter dish with so much flavor and I appreciated all the artichokes, olives, goat cheese in it. The chicken was also cooked well. The bread basket was only 4 small pieces of a baguette which was a little weird since it's on the menu to pay for. Great variety of wines and drinks. Not too loud even though you're sitting fairly close to others. I definitely want to come back and try more items!

Enjoyed lunch here. Started with cocktails which were both good. I had the Lavendar French 75 which was a nice twist on a regular French 75. We split the side Tuscan Salad which was excellent. My friend ordered chicken and asparagus crepes and liked them. I ordered the Croquet Madame Crepes which were delicious. Everything had a beautiful presentation. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is outstanding, beautifully decorated. I will be back and recommend.

My daughter just got a nice promotion at work so we decided to go out and celebrate! We decided on Victoria's and once again, it did not disappoint. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but filled up while we were eating. We were seated right away and ordered drinks and the bread basket. Drinks were great as was the bread. I ordered the duck confit special and it was delicious. My daughters ordered their crepes and my wife the whitefish. All of our meals were amazing. The service is absolute top notch. Victoria's will not disappoint!

Been a while since our last visit (about 18 months). The place has added on some square footage yet still remains cozy and intimate. A nice charm to the place with the owner always present.Started with some drinks at the bar and conversation that included two bartenders (shift change). We were made to feel welcome with small conversation.We kept our menu selections simple with the vegetarian flatbread pizza (best ever) and the Hudson's Maurice Salad, better than I can remember it.Both our servers, we sat at the bar, made us very welcome and kept our drinks coming.My only regret was not getting the Key Lime Pie, because we both ate to much.This place is a hidden gem and is five plus stars all day and night.

Stopped in for a Friday happy hour and what a treat it was! They offer a selection of French inspired food and drink options in a corner bistro feel. We'll definitely be back for one of their event nights and dinner! The service was also great. One of the people in our party had some dietary restrictions and she was great about checking with the kitchen to make sure all of our food was safe before ordering!

This place is a hidden gem and I can't wait to come back! Had a date night here recently and the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. Shrimp piccata and Bavarian pork (both specials) were amazing, as were the chocolate mousse crepes and the 2 cocktails I tried. Great little spot for an intimate dinner or elevated happy hour. Definitely not a place to bring your kids or a group larger than 6. But they do special tasting events which sound fun. Check this place out if you haven't already!

What a FANTASTIC find!! We absolutely loved it here. We were looking for a place exactly like this to kick off my birthday month and we found this absolutely perfect tiny restaurant. It was exactly what i wanted for my birthday dinner. We were walking around Oxford and we're intrigued by this charming outdoor area. There were only a few tables set up but the area was romantic and quaint. We entered through the back door and we were shocked at how small the inside was. It was also completely packed. We were fortunate to get the only available seats in the whole place! They were at the bar which is our preferred place to sit anyway so it was a bonus! We were immediately greeted by the bartenders and given a cocktail list, wine list, beer list, and menus. I was looking for a refreshing craft cocktail and that is exactly what they have. I was having trouble deciding so the bartender made a few suggestions based on my preferences. I went with the Paper Plane and it did not disappoint. It was an invigorating whiskey drink and oh so pretty! The presentation means so much! I normally skip the bread but their sour dough bread and creamy butter was mouthwatering and I couldn't skip it. The bread was salty which that alone makes this girl happy! Dinner does not include soup or salad but I didn't feel like we were missing anything. We looked over the menu and he chose the chicken Parisian which was a marvelous dish with artichokes and capers with wild rice. I chose to go with one of their specials for the day and was delighted with my Shrimp Picatta. I love sea food and I love chicken picatta so I was confident this would be good. It was perfect! The dish was buttery and perfectly prepared it was served with angel hair pasta. The serving size was the ideal size for me and I brought home left overs. He finished his dish. The atmosphere is very charming, however, be prepared to sit close to the table next to you. They did a great job utilizing the small space but you need to be comfortable getting friendly with your neighbor lol. I would recommend reservations because people coming in after us were told the wait would be at least an hour. Now, Oxford is gorgeous, so you could surely give them your number and walk around or grab a drink at the many bars along the street. The price was on par with the atmosphere, service, and quality food and cocktails. I think it's safe to say that I recommend this place and will absolutely be back! I was a very happy birthday girl!!

Victoria's Delights is like home to me! The Atmosphere, Food and Service is so wonderful. When I have had a long day, I come there to relax and enjoy the energy. I love all the food. I am mainly a vegetarian and Vicki has food to honor my dietary needs. So grateful for this place being here in Oxford!

Highly recommend and I was not disappointed.Interesting & varied menu choices. Planked whitefish with side veggies was excellent. Fishcakes good too.Well mixed cocktails. Service was timely, friendly, and professional.Had a long wait as it was Witches Night in Oxford.Small but welcoming setting. Bustling on this very busy night. Hope to try again when less so.

I had a substantial late lunch at Victoria's. Started with the French bread and delicious butter. Followed by a HUGE Maurice Salad. Next time, I'll have them chop it.
