Verona Inspired Italian

We recently visited Verona for a birthday dinner with friends, and while the restaurant is situated in the open entry of a hotel without much separation, they managed to create a nice dining atmosphere.Our server was friendly and prompt, quickly taking our drink orders. I had the Spicy Jo, which was both tasty and visually appealing. For appetizers, I ordered the French onion soup, and my main course, the Crispy Pollo Cristoforo, was absolutely amazing! My husband ordered the special, Pappardelle Short-Rib Rigatoni, which he enjoyed--however, the restaurant forgot to put in his order. As a result, his meal arrived only after everyone else had finished eating. Disappointingly, no manager checked in, no apology was given, and no compensation was offered for the mistake.To finish, we shared the lemon cake, which was decent but not particularly memorable.Overall, the food was very good, and we'd return to explore more dishes. However, the lack of customer service oversight, especially when handling a mistake, left us disappointed. A little attention from management would have significantly improved our experience.

This place is a hidden gem! Great cocktail menu and daily specials in addition to their normal menu. The Arancini was amazing the Parmesan cream sauce should accompany everything. Love the overall look and stylish bar area. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out fast. Definitely will be back!

What a cute place! We went here for my birthday and it was very lovely. It's the ground level of a hotel. We sat in the back patio which was secluded by arborvitae's. The tables had nice shade umbrellas.My favorite order was the mushroom truffle pizza. It was amazing! Highly recommend this one.We got the bruschetta pasta, the fig burrata appetizer, tomato soup, chicken Madeira, mashed potatoes, eggplant Parmesan, mushroom truffle pizza, and the banana mock tail.The pasta seems like home made pasta. Everyone liked their food.The server was very nice. We had a great time.

Calamari was a 10/10! Super thick, not overly fried, and amazing sauce! Truffle fries also 10/10! Thick cut fries, warm, and garlicky aioli!!! Pasta was AMAZING. The sauce was so full of flavor and the meat was cooked so well! The chicken was ok... Delicious dinner and fabulous atmosphere with even better service!

Meh... nothing special. A bit overpriced for the quality of food. The sauce was super watery and thin and didn't even cling to the pasta. The clams were pretty good, although I did bite into the occasional grit and broken shell pieces. Definitely not too pleasant. The drinks were decent. I may give this restaurant another try but will certainly be ordering a different dish.

Came here w reservation on Easter afternoon. Very clean, modern, and good ambiance overall. Server was nice and attentive. Got the stuffed salmon special, the bed of couscous/sauce was very salty but the flavor was good. Their bread is so delish. Drinks were good. A few of us had steak and potatoes. They all liked the food. Kids had standard chicken tenders like the same ones from every restaurant. The fries were super salted. Alfredo and linguini looked amazing but didn't personally try it. The bathroom was nice and clean- has seat covers in stock lol. They had bath & body works hand soap. Did not stay at the hotel, but it appeared that the lobby area was nice and well kept. Pricey place though is all I will add

So I wanted to give this restaurant a better rating because the Food was good there but the service was not and so 3 stars is the best I could do. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and furnished but it took more than 20 mins to get greeted and get waters. My husband and I have a rule around that because it's usually an indicator of bad service if it takes that long to get waters. I used to serve in college and I know most restaurants want people greeted with waters right away. We stayed and there were issues with other parts of our orders and having to remind staff about what we ordered. Also didn't get refills until we were about to leave. I may give it another go if I'm in the area but I wouldn't go again based on our service.

First time visiting this restaurant and the food was amazing . I started with truffle wedge salad which was delish couldn't finish it brought it home!!!then I has spaghetti with meatball I must say meatball was so good and I usually don't like any body meatball but mineMy friend ordered carbonara with lobster they brought out wrong order I was finished eating my friend still hadn't gotten her dish . Ask the hostess/manager if she'd check dish came out was again delish !! Hostess/manager comp us Not much good to say about our waiter Jimmie

The food was fantastic. The service was friendly and the ambiance was very comfortable. I had the Guisepe's pasta with a sangria and it was soo delicious! I will definitely be back when in the area.

What a find! We enjoyed a terrific Happy Hour selection of wines and craft drafts by the glass, along with a scrumptious meal in the dining area at the Cambria Hotel's Verona Inspired Italian. The space is comfortable, inviting, and beautifully appointed. Our bartender / server Jason was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Thank you for your recommendations!We each ordered the Giuseppe's: him - the pizza; me - the pasta. What an incredible combination of Al Dente pasta, Italian sausage, and wild mushrooms in a spicy creamy tomato sauce!We finished with a creamy, large scoop of cookies and Cream gelato. That and the decaf coffee sealed this lovely experience. High recommendations!
