I grew up in this area but moved to California 30 years ago because I'm a health nut and needed to be in an area that supported my healthy habits. Now, visiting for the Winter, I am feeling way out of my healthy zone! This store has little as far as healthy alternatives to unhealthy food. I didn't see any non dairy ice cream alternatives and there are plenty of brands to choose from. So Delicious (made with coconut milk) is one of the best but it was nowhere to be found.Healthy alternatives in their frozen pizza section, nothing to be found for me.Lots of processed food throughout the store though!I was surprised because places like Meijer and Costco are offering more and more organic, vegan, gluten free options. Needless to say, I was disappointed in this store. The huge produce section has a tiny "organic" section with everything wrapped in plastic! Ick! I am perplexed that people think fresh produce with a bunch of chemicals sprayed on them is good. Then again, I come from an area where the entire produce section is organic. The store seems clean and well stocked and the cashiers seemed pleasant, I just wish they included more healthy, organic, non GMO, non dairy options! It's time to get with it guys!

It has been a while since I shopped here on a regular basis. The store has grown and looks beautiful inside. They have a larger selection now. With that this was a supermarket that was easy on the wallet but still good quality. You are getting the same great quality but at a more expensive price. Not sure if that is because everyone is raising prices, not sure. The one thing I miss was this was the place to get chicken at a lower everyday price when compared to Kroger and Meijer, today not so much. Would I shop where again. Yes and I have. I just don't expect a cheaper bill then when I shop at other chain supermarkets.

Cool, this Value Center Market sold Sanders bumpy cakes and a whole variety of them too: chocolate fudge, vanilla buttercream and caramel. I went to Meijer in Northville the other day and they didn't have them there. Like other grocery stores, this market had different sections in it for fresh baked goods, fruits, frozen items, and different aisles for chips, drinks, cereal, pasta, etc. I especially loved the wide variety of Faygo drinks I could find here, especially with me being from the San Francisco Bay Area; you don't see Faygo over there. From this market, I also tried their Ali Baba's garlic sauce which was pretty good and you could find it in the refrigerated section of the store; the garlic sauce itself was more on a lemon-y side than garlicky, but it went very well with pita breads or if you wanted to use it as a spread on a sandwich also.

Probably the worst grocery store in Michigan. The products contained brands I've never heard of in all my 26 years of life. The store itself was hard to even step in without being eyeballed by a staff. If I were you I'd just go to a Kroger or a Walmart.

Used to be our go to grocery store but ever since they remodeled they jacked up their prices and now we only go for sale items if that. Also, when we get ground beef here, it can barely last a day or so in the fridge and it smelled sour when I opened it. Took it back and the jerk running the meat area said there's nothing wrong with it and he'd feed it to his family! It was turning color and smelled SOUR! We live around the corner from them so it went right home and into our fridge. This isn't the first time we got sour meat from this store but it was the first time complaining and they obviously didn't give a rat's ass.

After purchasing around $100 worth of groceries from this store. I arrived home and several hours later my son told me that I had purchased milk that was one day past expiration date. I called the store and spoke with an associate that agreed to replace the milk (even though I had already thrown out the sales receipt). The following day I came back to the store with my still unopened milk to make the exchange. I was repeatedly told by the manager that I should have the receipt and that now he could not get his money back from the supplier. Not once did I receive an apology from anyone other than the original person I spoke with on the phone. The cashier told me twice that I should have kept the receipt. Which I replied that they should not be selling expired products and that this was a learning experience for everyone. She even said that I may not even have bought it from there. Which may be the most ridiculous thing that she actually thinks people have nothing better to do with their time and energy . I think the employees here need some customer service training. Treating customers like criminals over 3.99 is terrible and they just managed to make me a person that will not be giving this market any of my money from now.

Rude snotty cashier, got up in my face, pointing her finger at me, making racist remarks. Told me to take my business elsewhere. I've been a big fan of this store for several years now, but I'll take the nasty cashier's advice, and give my business to a store that appreciates their customers.

Expired foods, rude employees. Avoid this market. The sale items usually are soon to expire. Within days. This is the closest grocery store to where I'm at but I happily drive past it to other places like Stans on Five Mile or Kroger to give my business to a place that treats their customers with common sense and dignity.
