Valentine Distilling

The Strawberry Fields Forever cocktail... omg. I just have to say- I've tried my fair share of mixed drinks at many places and that is BY FAR the best cocktail I have ever had. Perfectly balanced with sweet and fruity and creamy... literally a perfect drink! The staff was so kind and I loved the dimly-lit, and cozy atmosphere!

We stopped by on Sunday shortly after noon. No one was there and we had our pick of seats. They have a sizable patio along with seating inside. It was a cool vibe with a lot of sparkly chandeliers and red velvet.The drinks we got were decent but nothing mind blowing. They weren't super well balanced but they'll do if you're not super discerning or you just want to get drunk. They do have a pretty large cocktail menu.

Located just off the busy strip in crowded Ferndale. Limited street pay parking, adjoining pay lot. Inside is a well decorated, bright, and clean serving room and small bar. Shots, flights, and cocktails, they had some odder cocktails lined up such as a peanut old fashioned. The staff was friendly and fast. I tried the 6 year aged and it was a little harsh. The peanut old fashioned was different but good.

Valentine is a great quaint cocktail bar and I Love this local experience! Knowing that it's a Detroit Distillery and being able to enjoy cocktails here is so nice!

We went to Valentine to see a friend's band play. What a charming venue! And there's something homey about this place that I can't put my finger on, but it's homey in a good way that makes you want to hang out and come back. The band set up in front of the mural which made for a great backdrop. The sound was surprisingly excellent. We ordered a couple drinks, and the knowledgeable bartender helped me choose something not too sweet but not too boozy. I enjoyed a cocktail with their vodka as well as a gin and tonic over the course of the night and both were enjoyable. We will be back.

The distillery had some really cute cocktails. There were so many choices and each of them were fun and decorated so cutely. Service was fast and the bartender gave some really great recommendation. The ambiance was more fun and casual. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There was also a back room where they host events!

Saturday afternoon not too busy ordered the cucumber chill and was gourmet! One of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had. Can't wait to try other drinks that they have, I'm not much of a fan of vodka but theirs is amazing!

I wish I took photos of the cocktails because they were beautiful!! These bartenders are real artists. Completely worth the higher price. Service is amazing, they're happy to get to know your flavor preferences and make a solid recommendation. The feel of the place is super intimate and dimly lit with deep red tones running throughout. There were more than a few dates going on, not surprised, it's a perfect place for a date!I've been here many times and the back room is also super cool to hang out in! Much larger space with a private bar, perfect for private parties or when it's open, just cool to chill in with a few friends. Went here with some girlfriends and we will definitely be back!!

Overall, I loved coming here. It had a relaxing atmosphere and the drinks were delicious! The bartender was amazing and she was able to make great recommendations and provide general info about the shop as well. It is perfect for a nice afternoon drink on a date or a catch up with some friends.

Ok don't get mad at me but this place didn't WOW me - i wanted it. I will say this place have an awesome looking vibe; i actually came here for a calligraphy event which was hosted in the rear. Not sure if it's was SUNDAY and maybe the drinks (slighty pricey) are limited but i was also really hoping for food as well.Please note - no TVs! So i came here solo, then i really had nothing to look at and/or do it but if you have some friends then it would be good place to start off. I'll give this place another try some day.Happy drinking!!!
