Looking for a Friday night fish fry !Rather unassuming place and it is packed !We did find a table right away and a very friendly and helpful waitress cleaned it before we sat down.This a standard drinking bar with a good menu !While the place was very busy our waitress got our drinks and food order rather quick The food was basic but it was plenty and good for a fair price !Besides that she got our Octoberfest beer out very quick !If I get the chance, I'm happy to go again !

Visit date: 8/15/21 (mid-day) My sister and I came here for lunch, we were nearby and most of Dearborn Heights was out of power... We were not expecting much, and were pleasantly surprised with a delicious, fresh burger & patty melt. Excellent food experience. Rosie served us, and she was on top of it. The establishment is very clean and comfortable. There are TVs and Keno (a plus!) if that is of interest to you. They are doing a little remodeling in the back/bathrooms, but the bathroom was clean and worked out fine. There is a big patio, if you prefer to eat outside.This is the most important takeaway - come here for a top notch patty melt (under $10) in a very comfortable corner bar!

I've come here a few times already, but today I felt compelled to leave a review. This is by far the best fish fry I've ever had. My father and I came in for Lunch/Dinner at about 2:30pm. We each ordered the seafood platter. The platter came with perch, cod, and shrimp. All battered and fried to perfection. Nice and crisp, not soggy like some other places. Opted for the baked potato as well. Kudos to the cook or cooks who made our wonderful meal. I believe their names were Tara and Lisa. Also shoutout to the waitstaff who were great. Like I said, you want the best fish and chips or fish fry, come to Uncle Rays. They also serve specials everyday and my nephew loves their burgers. Again, come and give this place a shot, you won't regret it.

Food was decent! Very loud, music playing, but we will return! Only one server, but we were satisfied.

Place smells like piss and puke mixed with some fried shit food , the health inspector must check that tiny shit hole kitchen out because I'll bet my life on it their will be some violations .... Staff is a bunch of old seniors collecting SSI by day slanging ((( FAKE Nasty watered down Booze by night ))) service sucks so bad they look like the hot flashes from the Menopause definitely is one reason why their attitude sucks so bad other reasons should be mental health issues they suffer from. Stay away from the fish fry and food unless you like bacteria illness and wanting to do a colonoscopy after, saw a mouse in bathroom while I was washing my hands ((((gross)))) . This community shouldn't support such a shit hole instead someone or the even the current owner should definitely remodel and or consider changing up staff management or someone else should open something brand new with a better menu , better staff , cleaner environment ....The regulars that gave this place good reviews really don't know better on what's good based on the reviews I'm reading - This is local watering hole for their happy hour fix ..

I really like their burgers, but went in and after sitting and waiting for 15 minutes watching the barmaid laugh and talk with those sitting at the bar we walked out . Once they hired the staff from JPs things went downhill. Used to be good. Not the first time we had issues with that staff.

Waited an hr. for a table line was long but if you know the bartender and waitstaff you get seated ahead of everyone even if you're in the back of the line. I guess it helps if your name is Nick because that's what everyone called him. Waited over an hour for our food. Service was terrible.

What a dump this place has become. The food used to be okay; now it's just gross. Warning they serve precooked (up to 3 days ago) wings that are nasty... and still somehow come out raw.The waitress was completely rude about the food that was bad instead of being humble about it. The food was raw and could have killed someone; you don't blame the person who ordered it. And in my opinion, you definitely never attempt to charge them for it...Get some new employees; this place isn't going to make it sad to see another Dearborn Height's icon circling the toilet but...

Emily was amazing as sour server/bartender she kept the energy going and was such a vibe!!!

I have been coming here for years. The fish fry is excellent. The burgers and wings are the chow. I love the owner and waitstaff. Always a good time!!!Great little bar for watching sports or hanging on the patio.
