Uncle Lyle's Tavern and Grille

I've been to Uncle Lyle's Tavern twice and both times had an excellent meal and great service. Yesterday I tried the smoked wings. 10 wings will set you back $15.99 but they aren't your average size wings. These are huge and full of smoked flavor while still retaining that crispy skin. Also tried the special of the day which was homemade queso Mac n Cheese. I added smoked brisket on top and it was fabulous! The queso cheese was full of flavor and delivered that nice kick without being overly spicy. The brisket was tender and juicy and complemented the Mac n Cheese perfectly.They also have daily food specials (Tuesday is 10 wings for $10) as well as a great menu of crafted cocktails. Uncle Lyle's has a Touchtunes jukebox. Just download the app, add some credits, and play your favorite music. There's also Michigan Club Keno so you can watch your money disappear into the lotto abyss too. :-)

It was surprising to me how good the pulled pork and Mac and cheese wraps are here. Come hungry and you will be satisfied. If you don't want a wrap you can get the pulled pork dinner. I liked the Jenny's sweet BBQ sauce and my son preferred the tangy sauce. They have quite a variety. The only thing is I ordered fries and I was quite stuffed from the wrap.

First off for someone new to the area, this place is more bar than grill. Even the low lighting was more bar like. Taking that into consideration, the bartender/waitress was friendly and took good care of us. Ordered the smoked brisket dinner. 2 very thinly sliced pieces of brisket that were very tasty (just wish it was thicker or more slices). The Brussel sprouts were very crispy with no seasoning (a touch of balsamic vinegar would have made a big difference. The mac and cheese made the meal! I would order just the Mac and cheese next time.

After visiting here on October 25th 2022 we had to update our review. A couple of things are notable here we've had the smoke wings before and we like them however on this trip the smoke wings were so good my wife said she's never had a better one in her entire life. My wife is an excellent cook and we've been to many different places and this is not an exaggeration. They were smoked well, seasoned well had a crispy skin not a slimy skin, and remained tender; even the small ones that you thought would be dry were just as moist as the big ones. The cheese curds are very good and their homemade chips are crispy seasoned well and not greasy. NEW... To the menu several items including burnt ends. See my updated picture of the menu dated October 25th 2022. The burnt ends were good , great smoked flavor and very little waste as we prefer not to eat the fat. Tender! The bartender and other staff were pleasant to be around we certainly enjoyed our experience here... again. Not just a bar a great place to eat too and... An asset to the community.

Dundee best kept secret! This could be what you call your typical small town bar. It's has the small town bar feel. There is seating downstairs and there is also and upstairs with another bar and seating. The service was excellent both times we have eaten here. Both times it was on the weekend during the busy time. All the food we've eaten has been excellent! Appetizers were great, catfish was tasty. Overall a great place to eat and have some drinks

First, their dry rubbed wings are incredible. Other than that, the food is good to really good, but doesn't really stand out. We will continue to go to Uncle Lyles, but the real reason to do so - the wings!

BEWARE!Just left his establishment for a causal Mothers Day evening snack and feel like we were just ripped off!2 peope and our bill was $85.00 for a DRIED port sandwich, chicken wrap with BAD lettuce, side salad without was nothing but a bunch of croutons and ends of romanine lettuce and 3 what we though we paid for "TOP" shelf long island ice teas.Well we sure did pay for these 'not so "TOP" shelf long island ice teas.....We were actually sticker shocked when we got the bill. The long island ice teas were $8.50 BUT the TOP shelf was $2.00 extra for EVERY liquor upgrade...end price $15.00 for a glass filled to the brim with ice and barely and effect.And for the lettuce wrap, all the waitress could do was take $1.00 off our bill???? seriously it should have been removed in it's entire.But again, this just proves they are about the $$$ vs customer service/satisfaction..And if you use a credit card, there is an extra fee.....Messaged the owners, who di promptly reply, to only get "I'm Sorry", we will look into this...We eat out often and have NO problem spending money or paying top prices for service/food...but NOT for what we just got and paid for....we are actually still trying to process what the hell we did get????There are way to many BETTER establishments in our small community of Dundee and surrounding areas where they actually value there customers and you get what you pay for!!!Social House-RiversEdge-Great Lakes-Cilantro's to name a few...Utilize your hard earned money and go to one of the above mentioned establishments. You will not be disappointed when you walk out and you will to be trying to figure out what you paid for!Highly recommend social house! There top shelf drinks are $9.00 and sooo worth every penny and the food is 10x better with generous portions. We would have gone here this evening but was there this morning for their wonderful Mothers Day brunch, so we though we'd try Lylie's as we had not been in there for awhile....We will NEVER enter this establishment again and we will spread the word to stay clear......

Burger was raw inside and not acceptably. We no longer support this business. Raw is not acceptable in ground beef

I was in town for a tournament and found this place on apple maps. We got greeted by the bartender Ryan who was very nice and made sure everyone was taken care of. The food got to us pretty fast and was very good! They host mutiple events throughout the month and the place is small but well designed. Very comfortable atmosphere in this place! Definitely Recommend to anyone in town!
