Ugly Dog Distillery

So, we fully messed up and showed up the last 5 minutes before they closed. The bartender was great, she did let us get a flight and was super nice even though she had closed down some stuff. Lots of options, definitely will need to be back for cocktails! And love how everything is decked out with pups!

A great local distillery in downtown Chelsea. Rob, the owner, was so welcoming. He came over to greet us and fill us in on the backstory of the distillery-very cool.Lindsay Dahl, a local Chelsea artist, did all the awesome paintings in the bar, and they are also for sale.I had a chocolate martini made with their peanut butter bourbon. It came with a mini Reese's peanut butter cup as garnish. OMG! I will be dreaming of that cocktail. It was sooooo good.

Loads of growth, and finding their stride makes UD a proper hangout. The drinks are updated periodically and the staff is really great! Surprisingly chill for a Friday night. The music is the right volume to still chat with friends. The drinks are excellent. I had the Uptown Bite that was added to the menu today. This drink will bring me in, in the future. I ask them to make it hot and less sweet. It's perfect. Food trucks visit and outside food is welcome. We ordered from Cleary's. It's a short walk to a slew of restaurants. The live music is hit or miss. Really like the contemporary vibe with and jazz trio tonight. Craft cocktails will cost you but they are good. Support local.

Came to Ugly Dog Distillery for a cocktail on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed it immensely. Craft cocktail was amazing. Service and atmosphere was great. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous distillery with fantastic cocktails in downtown Chelsea. We loved the old fashioned with maple syrup and the pain killer. Loved their bourbon so much we bought 3 bottles to bring home. They have an extensive cocktail list & we wish we could have stayed for hours. Our bartender was awesome. Super friendly. Live bands, food trucks, dart boards during peak hours. Great place to hang out!

Wonderful cocktails and an extensive list. Perfect followup to a hike at Waterloo rec area. Especially liked the prickly pear martini.

The most delicious bourbons and associated drinks. Great atmosphere plus amazing and accommodating staff.

These silly rumors going around are nonsense about this place. After doing my own investigation and research sounds like a bully. Wanted to make another review about the ugly dog because I do not want to see another business being slandered by false reports. This is why people don't believe people when something happens because people love to try and get attention. Just standing beside a business as I am self employed myself.

This place is a gem! Their drinks are amazing! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Great entertainment and food trucks. The bartenders are superb! Try any of their specialty old fashioneds and a hug shout out to Ashley! She's the best!

This place is fudging awesome! The Vibe here is great and my girlfriend and I really enjoy the bartenders here (Ashley and Olivia) !
