TownHouse Cigar & Vapor - Livonia

I'm working in Detroit and went to Townhouse to score some cigars. Couldn't believe how cheap their prices were. Bought 5 Romeo y Julietas Bully's for $5.85 a stick with a sixth one thrown in for free. Their normally $7-8 a stick. Guy offered to sell me a box for $112 out the door. That's cheaper than Serious Cigars online deals. Every single one of them were stored improperly at some point in time and rehydrated in the humidor. They had lost all their essential oils and burned like garbage, the wrappers flaked and cracked almost immediately after lighting them up. Now one or two bad sticks in a box is to be expected. But all six of these were garbage and I pulled them straight out of the box in the stores humidor myself. So glad I didn't purchase an entire box from them. Makes me wonder if all their stock is garbage and that's the reason they can sell them so cheap. I only gave them two stars because of the scope of products they sell. Buyer beware! In all fairness I haven't contacted the store yet to tell them about my experience. I left town the next morning to head back to Indy for the weekend. When I get back to Detroit on Monday I'll go there and see if they make it right with me. If they do I'll gladly update this review. But I have serious misgivings about their supply chain.

My very first visit based on a friend's recommendation and Kay nailed it! She was very friendly, gave me a tour and of course had a great cigar selection. This is definitely my go to location. See you again soon Kay!
