Tony's Sports Bar

I was in there a few weeks ago and Steven served me up a burger and Modelo that was the best combo a man could ask for. Upon arrival I felt very welcomed by the ambiance within the bar. Steven was very friendly and conversed with me while handling other customers at the same time. He sure loves his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers! He's a man of character and seems to be a natural at his job. My only wish is that Tony's would bring back the Modelo on tap!

Located on busy Woodward, quite a ways north of the popular strip around 9 Mile. Very limited small lot and street parking. There is a medium patio off the side street, one medium sized back room with a large table, and a medium sized bar room with some tables and the medium length bar. When I went the bartender was also cooking. The burgers are good. They have a small but good craft beer menu. The place has been there a long time. It is a little dim inside. The prices were pretty good.

Tony runs the show here. Very odd menu and recommendations from staff. Sub-par tacos and jukebox.

I live in Upstate NY, a friend lives close by. Absolutely we go there everytime I come into town. Usually we'll meet friends or family here for good beer & drinks, along with absolutely fantastic bar food! Fried baloney sandwiches, love em! My personal favorite, by special request, are tater tots covered with chili, cheese and chopped onions! Add Miller Genuine Draft, The Champagne of Beer's and I'm in heaven. The other part that seals the deal as "my" Detroit hangout are the people that work here. Every time I walk in the door, it's like I never left. Everyone makes sure you feel welcome, and the crowd always adds to the ambiance. If you've never been, you owe it to yourself to stop in, have a beer & some fantastic bar food. Cheers!

This is my go to place to watch Detroit sports. They have a nice patio with a television and plenty of tvs inside. The service here is always friendly and efficient. The menu is pretty basic but the food is pretty good. I usually get the sliders and a side of tator tots and it's plenty of food. Enjoy the great atmosphere and drink responsibly.

We attended a music festival around Ferndale and were walking around looking for a good place to get some beers that weren't at music venue prices. stumbled across Tony's and thought it was perfect. We loved our bartender, he ran everything himself and was super friendly, we didn't get his name but it was the guy from Philly! We had super yummy mozzarella sticks and didn't want to leave, but had to catch a set at the magic stick. Plan on coming back whenever we have an opportunity.

Incredible place. I couldn't think of a better place. Tony is my favorite person. Love.

Great burgers and fries. Good prices and generous servings. Outdoor seating is a help!
