Tony's Coney Island & Grill

Hard to find "my" breakfast. But here, it's on the specials list. WAFFLE /MEAT EGGS I'm in. This is one of the local "spots." Greek owned, diner style. You know there is nothing better. Dad had the Corned Beef Hash. All of it was great!! Bathroom was spotless too. I'll be back for the next holiday

This is really what Coney Island restaurants are all about. I stopped in here while passing through the area and was looking for some breakfast. My food inexperienced coworker was surprised that a Coney Island would have a decent breakfast. He though they were all just Coney dogs. The food was amazing. My grandma couldn't have made a better omelette (don't tell her I said that). Huge portions with some of the best sausage gravy ever. I certainly could have made two meals out of my plate, but why the hell would I stop eating. Thanks Tony!!!I'm definitely coming back if I'm breezing through town again.

Food was good, great prices and service. I would have preferred a shredded cheese for the chili cheese fries, but it was still tasty. The diner is a little old and dated but no complaints otherwise!

So, this was my first time here. It was my daughter and I. So we both ordered a plate of Chili cheese fries. She also ordered a coney dog and a coke. I also ordered a Coney taco. The service was really good. No complaints there. Our waitress was polite and all our food came out promptly. Here's where it get interesting. The chili cheese fries were on point as well as her coney dog. On the other hand my Coney taco was one big plate of a mess. I couldn't pick it up. Had to cut it with a fork and knife. " a sloppy mess" when I tasted the pita bread it was burnt on the bottom. I won't be ordering that again. I'll come back another day. The booths were all clean. The decor was nice. But the wall mounted TV's were all blue screen. They're old and need to be replaced. The cash register was up front so anyone could type on it. I don't understand that one?

I love their breakfast. Their omelette's are so good & the sausage gravy is the best anywhere. I'll always recommend them. Just have to get there for dinner one time.

Tried the chicken and dumpling soup today and was not disappointed. A bowl is large and could l make a meal in itself for many people.

This is probably my favorite Coney Island. Funny thing is, I haven't seen one hot dog in the place! The food is always served hot and the taste is kinda like grandma makes. The ladies that work the place really make you feel comfortable. The first time we came here we actually stumbled upon it accidentally just seeing where roads would lead. They are truly an oasis of an establishment. I would recommend anyone to travel and and give them a try. You won't be disappointed

Had breakfast on May 17, 2023. Coffee was really bad. The eggs, potatoes and bacon smelled and tasted like cheap fry oil.

Great breakfast at a fair price. This is extremely popular especially on the weekends.
