I can't say enough good things about tomato and basil! I have been getting the margarita slices for at least three years now and they are delicious every single time. It's two large slices for five dollars, which is a wonderful and affordable lunch. I recommend tomato and basil because of the unsurpassed flavor and craftsmanship of their food... I want the recipe for their sauce. It has a garlic subtleness to it. That is unmatched.

Just be aware that the online menu on Yelp is woefully out of date. A calzone that was listed as $5.99 on Yelp turned out to be $11.00 in reality. Food is good, but maybe check the actual menu on their website first.

We called ahead for 12" Italian subs on Halloween. When we picked them up, the bread was still warm. The lunchmeat was sliced nice and thin. Had half my sub the next day and it was still fresh and not soggy.

Okay first time eating here and not sure if I would go back. First upon coming after phoning in the order I greeted by "What do you need?" not in welcoming tone but that but I see this has classy listed on yelp it is not sorry. Also they accept credit cards but have a huge sign that says they charge a service fee 3.99%. I know that some businesses are now passing the cost to customers heads up would be nice. We got the cheese bread which was good but the sauce was normal and nothing special. We got super with pep, sausage, onion, garlic mushroom and green peppers. Love the cook on the pizza.

I have been wanting to try this place based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. I got a large margherita pizza, ham calzone, and chicken parmesan sub. The pizza was good - large, New York style pieces. Not the best I have had in the area, but still good. The ham calzone was HUGE and stuffed with cheese and ham. I was shocked at both how large it was and how much filling was actually inside it. The chicken parmesan sub was incredible especially for the price. Unlike other reviewers, I had a good experience with the service. The boys working were kind and my order was ready when I arrived (within 20 minutes of ordering). I will definitely be back to try more.

This place has a great lunch special if you live near Washington twp/Romeo 2 big slices of quality pizza and a pop for like 6 bucks I always will be a loyal customer

Tomato and Basil was a childhood place to eat with my mom and boy was it delicious. This was years ago when the location was in Chesterfield. Fast forward to now, I found it not far from me in Washington Twp. I made the 30 min drive out there last night and wasn't disappointed. The Bianca pizza still tastes like it did and brought back plenty of good memories. Great place - excited to try more of the menu!P.S. - I judge a lot of places based on their ranch, needless to say it's spot on .

Turkey sub was absolutely incredible and what an amazing price. I don't even understand how they can make money selling an incredible sub like that for six dollars. Quality ingredients, amazing homemade bread, and the dessing was outstanding as well

Came in for 2 slices, three cheese bianca is always so good and some how it still tastes just like it did all those years ago when I would stop here when driving from the high school to retc during lunchI understand it's knew owners but thank you for keeping the recipes alive, I will order a full one soon
