They Say Restaurant is a Pre-Concert and Post-Concert hot spot! On concert nights, they are normally bustling with diners. We were grateful to get to dine at the bar before the Robert Glasper concert. They are located only a couple blocks away from The Aretha Franklin Amphitheater. Once we parked at the amphitheater, it was a short walk over to the restaurant for dinner.The benefit of eating at the bar was that they were quick with serving the drinks and taking our food order. I ordered the wings and fries which were good. My girlfriend decided on the corned beef sandwich and fries. She said they were both great.

Let's start with the smell when you first enter this place "not good". It stinks you have to wonder what that is, then the service it was okay but it was absolutely no one in here and my waitress had my food sitting waiting for her to bring to the table. But yes me and my son sat down and ordered. I ordered 10 piece they say wings with barbecue sauce and a raspberry tea and my son ordered a lemonade and cheeseburger. Food was the only thing okay in this place but because of the smell I will not be returning to this location. My son enjoyed his food as well.

My friends and I came here after a night of drinking downtown. Walking into this restaurant it had a smell really hard to explain but once you made it past the entrance, the smell was gone. We sat at the bar and was properly serviced by the bartender. The drinks are not that good so I will not come back for just drinks. I opted for the They say trio platter, which came with potato skins for they say wings and a quesadillas. Potato skins were OK and the quesadilla wasn't that flavorful but "they say" wings were saucy and very good. I understand why they are known for their barbecue sauce wings. I will come back for their wings alone, and I would like to try other items on the menu to see how they taste.

My wings were great. The togo station seems unorganized though. The bathrooms were dirty and that was a disappointment. Nice bartenders, they were attentive, amd on top of things.

Excellent service from the parking lot to inside. Staff was very friendly and full of smiles, you can tell they liked being there and we were more than welcome to come in and enjoy ourselves. It was quiet and the ambiance made you feel right at home. Our waitress was super nice and made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the fried wings that were cooked to perfection in looks and taste. The BBQ sauce looked really nice, a little bit too tangy for my tongue but good! We will most definitely return with a few more friends.

The wings are absolutely delicious but the service is going to make it hard for me to go back to get some. I ordered over the phone and was told 20 minutes but it was almost 50 before I was served my food. When time is of the essence, it doesn't matter how good the food is.

Okay because who doesn't like They Say wings?!!! We know these are wayyyy better than Sweetwater!The customer service is ify. Sometimes they're really good, other times u can do without the attitude. I'm not sure if they open upstairs or not, it's been an extremely long time since I've been up there. They should open this back up as a club honestly.Salad was delicious, Cajun pasta was good too! My sprite was disgusting and I returned it and got water. I believe it was the end of the night super syrup thing.It can be a bit busy so use ur patience!

During heavy season like football they are slow about answering the phone for pick up orders. The wings are good I recommend dry as opposed to sauce wings. They tend to have too much sauce. I like sauce but not too much get it on the side. It's a really good wing spot.

This place has always been a go to. While home we went to a family members graduation celebration. The staff as always was nice and on top of everything. We had the wings with mini baked potatoes. For drinks I had a whiskey sour and the Lady had a margarita. This place never disappoints.

Service was very friendly and courteous and prices were reasonable. Unfortunately the food missed the mark. First it took FOREVER to order our food - several tables that came after us definitely ordered before us and were 1/2 done with their meal before we got our food. The food itself was kind of a mixed bag. Fried Turkey Chops 0/5 - so tough I couldn't eat then and even tough to cut with a steak knife. The flavor was very mid. They looked delicious though.Collard Greens 4/5 - very good but just a little heavy on the salt Mac n cheese 4/5 - also very good but oddly just a wee bit light on the saltLamb Chops 4/5 -medium well with a light pink center, very juicy and tender- good flavor
