Beautiful view with deck on the water. Kind service & pretty good food. A couple beers on drafts + full bar.

Made a reservation online, got texts confirming, then arrived at the restaurant tonight to see it's closed for renovations until March 7. This was for my dad's birthday. It was really fun spending all night trying to find a table last minute on a Saturday night. When you are closed for renovations you probably should turn your reservation system off, huh?

Overall I'd give the Waterfront a thumbs up. The food was slightly above average, with large portions of service was very good, and you can't beat the location. It's right on the water, and they had a band playing when we visited.

This place only certain foods are good but it's just a little too pricey. I have tasted their steaks here on occasions. But for $42 vs the $12 at the MARINE CORP LEAUGE STEAK NITE. I mean what would you do ? And for $12 with trimmings and a drink it makes it more magical in taste too. Now the pier is nice over looking the river is always a good feeling to watch. But they really do not do much of entertainment since they remodel it. It makes this place to chaotic boring . I wonder what happened to all the diversity that used to show up here. Drinks are expensive too but I do recommend the Tokyo tea it will catch you by surprise. This is all. Chief Elite status ? I mean for what it's worth I am no Ernest Hemingway I am just a regular guy .

Sadly this place could do so much better but i do not know if they even try .-our waitress was super nice but the waitress to the table next to us was a hot mess.- they were literally out of everything on a Saturday ( mash potatoes, steak bites and more dishes even dessert) -place is beautiful-drinks were okay

I was super skeptical given the reviews. My fish and chips were amazing. There were 3 huge chunks of fish with delicious crispy breading. Fries were super crispy too. The portion of coleslaw was laughable, lol. Teeny tiny amount of tartar as well.Also got a burger; it was HUGE, but only tasted okay (according to him). $9 for a mocktail was a little steep. Other people enjoyed their food. Heard the red mashed potatoes were phenomenal. Don't live in town so I'll never be back but I will definitely remember that fish n chips basket...

We had an amazing dinner here. The outdoor lake-view patio was fantastic on this summer day. The service was a bit slow but the food was amazing. I come here for the calamari. I can't say enough about the calamari ... it's served with tomatoes onions capers in a tangy sauce. Honestly the best calamari around. I come here for this. I had this for my dinner with an asparagus appetizer. My husband had fettuccine with meat sauce. He added shrimp and he loved it the sauce had a little kick to it. My drink was a French 75 it was strong and spot on delicious. Once we got our waiter it was perfect service. He was attentive and engaging. He suggested the dessert and we bit. Limoncello. I saw the reviews on here and maybe I ordered the perfect dishes because our dining experience was fantastic. I'll keep coming back just for the calamari.

The ambiance is beautiful, inside and outside everything is beautiful to look at.We sat outside and had an umbrella to keep the sun off our eyes. The food was actually pretty good. After reading several reviews I was afraid to get disappointed with the food but I was pleasantly surprised. The only downfall with the trip was the cocktails. They were out of several drinks I wanted. The waitress also confused the drinks I wanted and brought me the wrong item but she was nice and corrected her mistake.The wait was a bit longer than they originally quoted us which is why I docked them on a star, however there is plenty of parking so that is a plus. All in all this is a cute spot to stop in for a bite to eat.

Very tasty! Classic pasta. But otherwise they are also known for their burgers and wraps. The waterfront view of the Detroit river was also so beautiful. I can't wait for it to get warmer and to sit in their outdoor seating. Service was alittle on the slower side, but we were a bigger party.

Do you like waiting 60 minutes for your food because the servers clearly have more tables than they can handle? Do you like the taste of unseasoned hospital food? If you answered yes, this is the place for you. I thought I'd give it another shot after last time but that was a mistake. Note to self - never again.
