The Village Place

Quality has gone way down. Prices have gone way up. Service is very good. Clean establishment.

Was disappointed with service and food won't be coming back to visit. I know everything is more expensive nowadays but it seems like the value here wasn't worth the visit.

I came here with a group of people and the waitress was extremely friendly. It wasn't busy when we arrived and there were about nine of us so they pretty much let us pick wherever we wanted to sit and we just pushed some tables together. It was around noon when we got there and some people ordered breakfast and some ordered lunch. I ordered a garden omelette made with egg whites and instead of the potatoes one of the choices was sliced bananas so that was what I got and they were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions were very good. I would definitely come here again.

Place is always very busy at dinner time. Good food at a good price with excellent service.I got the slow cooked pot roast dinner. Cooked in a homemade gravy with potatoes and carrots. The pot roast is so tender you can cut it with a spoon.Very clean and well run restaurant that is a local favorite.

This is a great place for a meal . The service is excellent, the employees smile and are personable and efficient.It's a pleasant atmosphere and is kept very clean.Thank you for all your hard work to make this a positive experience.

We love this place. The menu is extensive, they have specials daily, and the service is great! We go for breakfast more than any other meal, which are all great choices. Our only nitpicking of the breakfast menu is that we don't care for the "butter" used on the hashbrowns. We order them dry, and they are much better. The cottage fries are also very good, but being deep-fried, we opt for the dry hashbrowns.

Service was excellent and friendly. This is the cleanest diner type restaurant I have ever been in. It looks like it's been recently remodeled and whoever did it has great taste. Food portions were large with a nice selection. The only issue was one person thought the chicken noodle soup was too salty and another though the chicken gravy on her mashed potatoes was also too salty. Prices were a bit high, pop was $3.55 a person which borders on ridiculous. 3 of us had dinner for $90 with tip, which is a lot but it was a comfortable atmosphere and a nice treat but I can't afford to be a regular.

I'm bumping up this review two stars from my last post. Three main reasons why.1. FREE REFILLS (unlike last time)2. Food was much much better than last time. Everything was cooked and tasted pretty good3. The waitresses that waited on us and gave us or food were the biggest sweethearts.The Village Place is somewhat pricey but its got decent food. Not the best. But pretty good.

This is the third time me and my friend went to this restaurant ordered omelette with hash browns Bahama was very Brown and dry ham and cheese omelette? The hash browns were still white looking and greasy when he re-cooked on the second time around they had a really weird smell. Probably be my last time I'm there

I like the Village Place, I have been coming here for years. The food is always good and the staff is friendly. I often took my autistic son there because he loves their Cheeseburgers, and I like the Club Salad. It was always reasonable, and we usualy walked away with a bill for around 20.00.That all changed last fall when we went for lunch, ordered our usual and got our bill. In less than a week it had jumped up to 38.00 for the exact same thing. I didn't return for a few months, thinking things weren't as crazy (money wise) as they had been and maybe the prices had come back down. Usually at lunch time the place is packed but this time there were maybe 5 other tables. The old staff we loved wasn't there, and the bill was still ridiculously high. If I want to pay that much, I'll go to any high end restaurant in the area and (while the food wasn't bad) it'll taste better...
