The Sports Bar Westside

The Westside is my go to bar in A2. The service, food, and drinks are consistent and it's a great place to watch sports. They have a separate dining room for families and large bar area with quite a few tables. There's also an outside patio dining area with overhead fans to keep you cool on a hot summer day. The menu is your typical bar food but a touch better. Burgers, sandwiches, and wraps have been a solid choice for me and my friends. I love their jumbo wings which aren't breaded. When I'm doing keto it's a safe choice to avoid carbs. I love their drink and shot menu. They come up with some interesting and tasty choices. My favorite is the Dirty Girl Scout with Bailey's, vodka, and Crème de Menthe. Tastes like a boozy Thin Mint! The Sports Bar Westside is a great place to watch a game, grab some food/drinks, and play Keno in a casual family friendly environment.

Love the food. Can be very loud on game day. But Parents just let their kids run wild all over the place even manager or wait staff do not hold parents to contain their children for other customer's comfort level. Sad cause it is a good place to go.

I'm usually not too keen on sports bars, though felt like getting a sandwich and a beer when I was in the area around lunchtime and decided to give this place a try. Definitely worth a stop even for the non sports enthusiasts. Good draft beer selection, though the tap pulls show brewery names but not the name of the beer they're pulling. Would have been nice to have a draft menu. But I quickly confirmed the Dark Horse tap dispensed their Crooked Tree IPA and got one. I got the Monterey Wrap to eat, grilled chicken bits in a tortilla with grilled mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and some kind of creamy sauce. Very enjoyable, with all ingredients in what seemed to me like just the right proportion. Service was friendly and fast. Overall atmosphere is very clean, fairly light. Wouldn't mind lingering a bit. Even as a non sports enthusiast.

I was craving something a little bit different for lunchtime recently, and after a quick Yelp search, I came up with the Sports Bar Westside. With an easy to access location at Zeeb and Jackson, and a menu that looked to contain some healthier(ish) options, I was eager to try the place out. My partner in crime and I arrived just after 12 for a quick weekday bite. The restaurant was busy, but not too crowded, and we were able to grab a booth in the front. It wasn't long before a server came by our table, and we inquired about a few of the different wrap options. Neither of us could decide between 2 of the same wraps, so we did what we love to do when that happens: order one for me (Monterey) and one for him (Wrapito) and share. A bit later our wraps arrived, and we swapped out half of each to each other. Our server had said that the Monterey was the most popular, so I was eager to see if our tastes matched up to that. We both started with the Wrapito, and I loved the crunch of the chicken tenders and the hint of spice that this one offered. In comparison, surprisingly, the Monterey was a little bland. After we had both finished, I asked him which he liked best. "Actually, the Wrapito," he shrugged, and I agreed. When she brought our check, the server asked us the verdict, which we delivered with a shrug and a smile. The next time I'm on the west side at lunchtime, I'll plan to stop on in again to try something new at the Sports Bar Westside!

Went there last night for the first time. I liked the atmosphere at the bar. Seemed like a great place to watch a game. We sat in a separate dining area inside. Outside seating would have been okay too. It's on the east side of the building so in the shade. The menu had a lot of options for a bar. Three of us got salads. I opted for their specialty- a BBQ chicken salad. The BBQ sauce dressing was a little heavy- should have asked for it on the side. But it was still good. Wife and son opted for the chop salad and they came loaded. Others ordered the salmon dinner and the patty melt. Got rave reviews from them. I'm normally not one for appetizers but my wife ordered the pizza Styx and they were delicious. Service was great. Our server was Vince maybe, or Vinny? He was never out of sight for very long, and he was patient and friendly. I gave him a good tip. It's not 5-star dining - but for a sports bar, I rate it pretty high. I loved the atmosphere and we will be back to try different parts of the menu.

Aliya was an excellent server. She was friendly and had service with a smile. I accidentally ordered a meal that I didn't like and she took it back and ordered me something completely different. The atmosphere here is trendy with lots of tvs for sports and played Keno. I even won $2. LolWe will be back for sure.

Myself and my wife have been here twice and - both this week. That kind of tells you something. We ate here Tuesday night and decided to come back for lunch today, Thursday. Both times we felt the whole experience was top notch. The bartenders were friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the food very much. For the Tuesday night dinner we each got the special - the 2XL burger and fries. They were really great burgers, large and with all the fixins. we upgraded from Fry's to one order of onion rings and one order of tater tots each had two 16oz. IPAs and still got out of there for only 50 bucks plus tip.Special shout out is an order for the bartenders (we sat at the bar both visits). Thursday evening we had the pleasure of being served by Alia -- and our very friendly bartender for this afternoon's lunch was Emma. They both made us feel welcome and appreciated. Emma didn't bat an eye when we ordered ice tea instead of alcohol (it was too early for a beer). We will be back.

Great place with good food and drinks.Receipts provided by Toast are never accepted by Upside, so don't bother submitting. Kind of a good deal for them though. Free advertising on Upside app and never have to pay the cash back!

Food and server just fine, customer satisfaction sucks. Turned off ncaa game on the tv we were watching even though everyone in section were watching it! Then to top off the night they turned off all the tv's just when the last ncaa tournament game was headed to overtime! It's a Saturday night! Chasing everyone out at midnight during tournament time in the Ann Arbor market. Needles to say , won't come back!

We said we'd be back. We were. We were not disappointed. My wife got the bean burger again. No disappointment. I wanted Mexican. Got an enormous pork burrito. Not disappointed in the least. We'll be back again.
