The Sandbar

The Sandbar is easy to miss if you're driving by. But, stop in and stay a while. You'll be glad you did.It wasn't busy, but it was still nice to get our order taken quickly after we sat down. The beer prices are reasonable, particularly on tap. But, my wife's Moscow Mule seemed a bit weak, and it cost more than the beer. The food arrived quickly, too, and everything was hot off the grill. My wife and I both got the salmon sliders. Each sandwich has a generous chunk of perfectly cooked salmon. I ordered the tater tots, which were amazingly crispy and flavorful. My wife got the same thing, with french fries. The fries are good, but I like the tots better.My daughter's mac & cheese was super cheesy and buttery, and just needed a little salt to make it perfect. My son got a burger with a fried egg on it, and he said it was nice and beefy.Prices were reasonable, too. And, there are big screen TVs wherever you look. I can see this becoming a regular stop for good food and drinks.

A cute little spot in SCS, and whole it doesn't carry the Johnny Black name officially, you can definitely see the JB influence.Nice selection of beer and the cocktails look to be on point. Ordered the chicken wings and they were good. The sauce especially. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to eat here, but I wouldn't be against coming back.

Friendly service. Seemed to have every big 10 football game on. Good surf & turf tacos.

Came here on a Friday night around 6:30. The inside was packed but the outdoor patio had some open seating. The outdoor patio had fake flowers for ambiance, but still a ton of bees (many in which came to my table a few times).Ordered to start were the frickles and brussel sprout salad. The frickles were a perfect fried food and the sandbar sauce was great. Not sure what it is made of but I loved it. The brussel sprout salad was divine and easily can serve 2-4 people. For entrees, we're the chicken Caesar wrap and Buffalo chicken sandwich. The sandwich was delishhhhh. So juicy and perfectly breaded. Would get again. Our server was nice, but inattentive. Never checked on the food or refills. I'd come back but would sit inside due to the insane amount of bees and flies outside swarming on and around my food.

Went here on a beautiful day after taking small drive. Had a beer and the stir fry- the Brussel sprout salad comes highly recommended and unfortunately they were out of it when I arrived. My companion had a huge burger. Nice vibe and people (mixed crowd) nice place to hang out.

Very good and diverse menu. Both the food and the service were very good. It was not too noisy so it made it nice to be with friends.

Food was delicious! Love the frickles. Our server was very nice and tentative. Definitely will be back again!

I came into Sandbar tonight to see a couple of Friends. My bartenders tonight were Maria and Megan. Both bartenders smiles were very warm and inviting. Megan asked about me and how my day was going and it genuinely made me feel great. Maria's flare and drink presentation was second to none! Sandbar is definitely a hidden gem and I will whole heartily be back!!!

The food was delicious and the server was super sweet! I enjoyed the atmosphere sitting on the patio. This was my first time eating here and we will definitely be back to try more options on the menu!

The food here is amazing! This was our first time eating here and we are shocked. We didn't expect the food at a bar restaurant to be so good. My wife had the CBLT Sliders. My daughter had the Drunken Fish Tacos. I had one of the specials (Chicken Picata). All three of our dishes were amazingly good. My Chicken Picata was literally the best that I've ever had. Now we're waiting on desert. Very, very happy with this place!
