The Stage, great small venue leans indie rock, punk, and metal.

Not my favorite place to see a show but not the worst either. Maybe I'm just getting old but the Sanctuary feels particularly claustrophobic to me when it's full or close to it. Sound quality is decent but nothing too great. I've seen Negative Approach here a time or two. They tend to book mostly punk and hardcore bands. I also got to see oddball puppeteer/singer/scat rapper David Liebe Hart best known for being one of the eccentrics on Adult Swim's live action cartoon Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! That was something else. DLH even posed with a paper bag puppet I made of my friend Corey. Fun times.

For a dive bar, this is good as it gets. Clean, renovated bathrooms.Great drink specials.Arcade games.Up to date bar and decor.Went here for the first time to see some live music. The sound here is great, you get just as loud in the back as you do at the front. The special that night that we were all going for was a PB&J for $9. A tall PBR and a shot of Jameson. Their cocktail menu looked fabulous but didn't partake in any because it was a school night. Would frequent here again.

I like this venue, I have seen a lot of great shows and met some awesome people here! The staff is friendly and keeps a safe environment. The sound is always great. And Hamtramck is a dope spot to be.

This is a no-nonsense venue for music. There is a mostly full bar with specials ( The night we were there one of the specials was a shot and a Strohs for $5) and an open area for bands to perform. The sound guy did a great job, and the acoustics aren't bad. The parking can be challenging, but not so much as to not go there.

I went here for a concert--it was a nice vibe, bartender seemed chill, super nice audio and had seating. I recommend earplugs if you go for a concert though, it can get loud.

I think it's pretty silly they require proof of vaccination or a negative test to get in, but don't check the bands that are playing. Seems silly to me that the people screaming/spitting towards everyone can be unvaxxed but all patrons have to be vaccinated. Doesn't make sense to me.

This place quite literally robbed me then their customer service told me oh well..... don't ever go here.I purchased tickets to a show at this venue before vaccinations or negative test were required for attendance. Now that this is a requirement they are still not going to refund anyone for tickets even though they are unable to attend because of this.Even though they are not issuing refunds to those who cannot meet these requirements, there is no information about these requirements on their website anywhere and there is no notification of this requirement during the ticket purchasing process. So you can STILL purchase a ticket without knowing this and you will just be out the money because apparently it's not their fault that they are falsely advertising.I go to a lot of concerts in the states surrounding my area and have had to get 6 refunds in the past few months for this same reasoning. This is the ONLY venue out of all of them that has not given me a refund for this issue let alone not just offered one to me once they required things that were not a part of my ticket purchase.I've even reached out to their customer service to try and get this issue resolved and they essentially told me too bad. Also they also DO NOT answer their phone, EVER. I was trying to reach them to ask if vaccines or testing were required since it isn't advertised that way ANYWHERE, but a friend told me it was. So you have to email them and wait a whole week for a response. If they had not responded I would have spent more money on a hotel, taken a day off work, driven 5 hours, to show up and be told that they falsely advertised and I wouldn't have been allowed to enter the show. This place is fucked.I was excited to go here for the first time because I had never been and I love finding new venues. Me and my friends very regularly go on large group trips to shows and go back to venues we've liked in the past a lot. But unfortunately due to their unprofessional manner and the fact this establishment owes me money because they robbed me we will never go here.
