Stopped by on our way home from a visit to the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. We have never been here and thought we'd give it a try; we are glad that we did. They have tables and plenty of booths. The atmosphere is very cozy. The menus are large with much to choose from. The prices are on the high side for what you order but the food was decent. We ordered the two for $10 with a half a Reuben and bowl of soup. My tomato soup was too thick and on the warm side but I could tell it was home-made and had a good taste to it. The Reuben's were good. The coffee was hot and good and it came with a side carafe to set on the table so you didn't have to ask for more coffee, just pour it yourself. We ordered a slice of carrot cake to go; it looks delicious! We have not tried it yet but it was a nice size slice for $6.00One waitress was a bit kama-kazy moving like a tornado and as if she were way too over-worked BUT she did get the job done. It's just a bit unnerving when the person helping appears like they are killing themselves to do everything. There is plenty of parking.

This is another place I have passed so often and never had the occasion to stop here. We finally did one evening after doing the Glenlore Trails holiday light show. My child brought a friend who said this place was good and gave bigger portions than you think. That was exactly what happened. The portions were huge! You get some bread and crackers on the table with some butter. After spending an hour and a half on a trail at night, I was hungry. I ordered the spinach pie appetizer. It was huge and some of the best spinach pie I have ever had in the area, no joke. The dough on top was so crispy and the filling creamy and flavorful. The tzatziki sauce was delicious. Sometimes that sauce at other places make me feel ill, this one did not and it was so tasty. I love a club, so I also got the club. It had thick cut turkey that tasted like Thanksgiving, not cheap lunch meat you might get from other places. It was a bit dry, but I got some ranch, which I typically get anyway, then it was perfect. The bacon was super crispy, and the portion was ginormous. I had so much to take home and it lasted two more meals. We also tried the corned beef and swiss sandwich. It was amazing, piled so high and nice and hot. It was flavorful and could rival nearby delis. The fries were very crispy and also nice and hot. We had a French dip that was so cheesy and the most mountainous portion of Nutella pancakes with fruit one has ever seen. Our friend got chicken strips and waffle fries that looked very good.This is an adorable diner and I cannot wait to return and try more.

Consistently delicious diner food in a typical diner setting with booths. The coney dogs are large and cheap. Salads are fresh and the small size is enough for two meals! Servers are attentive with making sure drinks are filled. Only thing that I don't like is they use bow-tie noodles in their chicken noodle soup for some reason. Bow tie is a sauce noodle not a soup noodle!

This place is awesome! It's so cute and cozy inside. I love the bar and fireplace. The owner is talking with customers. I got the golden pancakes and eggs. The pancakes are delicious and ginormous! So tasty! When I ordered coffee they brought me a thermos of coffee so I can refill my own. Our server stopped by multiple times to see how we were. Everyone working her has a smile and are so nice. Never once had to ask for a refill for my water, my dad loved his salad! Highly recommend.

Food was blah / btw no senior discount on Sunday/my son ordered pancakes with chocolate chips, and when it came without it, the waitress offered to put them on the side instead of remaking them not sure how that would've worked. Took over 10 minutes to remake pancakes for a seven-year-old who was waiting to eat with his family. Will not come back here until I forget about this experience. Staff not very knowledgeable possibly because they're having a hard time employing people or keeping them employed. That being said if given the option I go across the street and a mile east to the village place they have great service, great food and a senior discount.

I come here a lot. The service is always good even when they're packed. The portions are very good sized. I absolutely love their chicken lemon rice soup. Its flavorful and not watered down salty sad excuse for soup. It is filling. And the perfect balance of chicken and lemon flavor. The salads are always fresh and crunchy. I highly recommend the pink Greek dressing. It's creamy, not too salty. Definitely get some of the beet flavor and the feta in it. The restaurant is always clean and they decorate nice for the holidays. Just a good place over all. However the hash browns are never cooked long enough, so make sure to ask for them well done.

Really good food, large portions and great service in a friendly warm atmosphere. I had chicken fried steak. Really tasty with great gravy and thick delicious mashed potatoes. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo which looked fantastic and she loved it. Prices are maybe a bit higher than I expected, but, don't eat out very often so maybe it's the new normal. We'll be back.
