This place has become our go to local spot. We just moved to Berkley and we are extremely lucky to have such a quality restaurant so close to us. This gem is connected to Mongers Provisons which is a fantastic meat, cheese and wine shop (also highly recommended). The menu is very seasonal with great cocktails to match. Most importantly, the staff is so warm and inviting. They are all so skilled and charming that it makes the experience seamless and the atmosphere very approachable. I can't say enough about this place, but I also want to keep it my secret. Get the specials. Get the charcuterie. Get the wine. Get the dessert. Get yourself a very good time.

Some friends invited us to dinner here and we were thrilled to join them! At first glance, the menu seemed a bit unusual, but it was fun to try a variety of different things. Our server, Zane, was amazing! He walked us through the whole menu and gave us a bunch of great suggestions. We started with a cheese and charcuterie plate which was excellent. Then, we saw the table next to us eating something that looked fantastic. Zane told us it was the Pretty Potatoes so we ordered that and it tasted even better than it looked! We shared the beef and fish dishes and they both had excellent flavor. Then, we topped things off with the Big Bopper, an ice cream sandwich unlike any I have had before.Definitely a great spot in Berkley to try if you have a chance!

What a great spot! Attached to Monger's provisions in Berkley, you can't get anymore farm to table than The Rind. Excellent food, wine and cocktails are waiting to be discovered at The Rind. Make sure you try some cheese or charcuterie when you are there, and make sure you order family style so you get to try as much as you can on the menu. Everything is locally sourced, and thoughtfully prepared. We each tried a cocktail and shared 6 dishes and two orders of the most amazing bread and butter! We had plenty and you def need bread to soak up all the sauces left behind. They are also open for lunch for one of the best soup and grilled cheeses you can get in the D. Check it out! Parking in the back, FYI.

Love love love this place. Menu is always having delicious specials. Highly recommend the bread and butter. Lately they've had a dish with mushrooms, egg yolk and broth and omg I love it. The charcuterie boards are really good too, and staff is always helpful in picking items. Really like the space and love that it's connected to Mongers- we usually pop over and buy stuff after. For dessert I often get the chocolate tasting flight which actually has a decent amount of chocolate and it's delicious. Also they have great wine. We average going multiple times a month bc it's so good.

We spent Saturday night with friends at The Rind. It was terrific! The variety of cheese and meats for our charcuterie made it fun to try things for the first time. The food was great. The wait and bar staff were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable. They paid special attention to food allergies and found proper workarounds. We had a meal that was memorable and will be sure to be back soon.

This place is so good!!! We had a cheese and charcuterie tray to start. The Chevre is awesome, we also had the pretty potatoes which are incredible! Sara was our server and she made the best suggestions. It's a fun place to go with a couple friends and enjoy great food and drinks.

Will and Zach have done an incredible job with the expansion of Mongers into The Rind. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the appetizers are wonderful. I cannot wait for them to expand their menu.

Such a cute little restaurant! They're attached to the cheese shop next door and you can buy what you loved at dinner. We tried a few cheeses, Jambon Iberico, and whitefish for dinner. All were excellent, presentation and taste were beautiful. The service was extremely fast and very friendly. We had the cookie sandwich dessert and we can't wait to come back soon.

This feels like a hidden gem in Berkeley, in fact it's easy to walk right past it! Once you're inside, you'll appreciate the cozy size and elegant interior. The menu is unique and varied with the option to build your own board with lot of different cheeses + charcuterie, order small plates or opt for snacks/ dessert. We were grateful for the items that were gluten-free, vegetarian and very flavorful - as well as the salads which were delicious! We didn't have a reservation, but I would recommend one as I expect they will be filling up quickly!

We enjoy shopping at Mongers for speciality items (charcuterie, chocolate, and cocktail mixers) and were curious to check out the wine bar vibe that opened in their connected space to the east. Wowza! We've dropped in for dinner twice in the last two weeks and are blown away. The space is lovely-simple and inviting. Their wine list extensive-lots of European libations to taste and enjoy. Build your own charcuterie tray-the server will help and answer questions about options, although honestly they're all delicious. We've enjoyed the Caesar and spring salads followed by the rainbow trout. A chocolate tasting flight closed out our first time a The Rind. This is our favorite local dining spot for the quality of food and service. Looking forward to many happy returns!
