Stopped here based on the reviews and was extremely happy I did! I have been to many breweries around the state and Red Line easily lands somewhere toward the top. The beer was delicious and the service was WAY better than others; even the customers were friendly and welcoming by offering their recommendations and conversation. I will say that if you're looking for the boujee, typical wood pallet decor atmosphere, you're not going to find it here. Red Line has more of a garage feel to it. I will definitely be back in the future when I'm in the area.

Another night at Redline and it didn't disappoint. Even had Doug behind the bar, he's almost as good as Tom Cruise in Cocktails he is so passionate about his art!

I have been to this brewery several times. It is very small and feels like family. They always have new items coming out and a rolling beer menu based on what the owner has coming out. I would recommend this place 100%.

So this was our final tagabrew trail stop for the day and unfortunately, they were out of tagabrews. Bummer! This place was decorated like a garage. The Red line was painted across the bar. They were jamming to some Irish punk. I love Irish punk! Super fun! The bar was clean and social distancing was enforced. The bartender was polite. I don't think they had food but I saw a table eating so they may have brought it in or had it delivered. He ordered the "Unlucky Charms" which was made with 13 boxes of lucky Charms cereal. He like it. I did not. It tasted like marshmallows. I ordered the Unlucky Irishman which was a red. I need to branch out more with my beer choices haha. We will definitely come back because I want that tagabrew dang it!

My brother an I stopped here for a flight after a Firebirds game just down the road. Unfortunately, two beers that I wanted to sample, listed on their web page, were out. I didn't care for 3 of the 4 samplers I had but most of the descriptions were accurate. Friendly and knowledgeable bartender. 20 beers on tap. Dive bar feel with low top and bar seating. No food but you can have it delivered or bring it in yourself. WiFi with password. I hope in the future they will have some of the beers listed online available. I may return.

Don't pass this place by! It may surprise you how small it seems, but there's some quality brewing and distilling going on here.

Red Line has one thing that I think works both for and against it, and that is location. Flint proper now has craft beer aplenty, so it's easy to end up downtown with all kinds of options and scenes within walking distance. Red Line, on the other hand, doesn't have sexy curb appeal or a hot location surrounded by up-and-coming local biz. What it does have, though, is excellent craft brews. Doug, the owner and brewmaster, is not only passionate about his job, he's also damn good at it. This is a great bar with awesome staff at the helm, and definitely not a brewery to be overlooked just because of where it is on the map. If you're aiming to find a casual, comfortable bar with truly quality beer, look no further.

Update 7/31/20: Doug is now distilling rum. As of today, not selling, but I did ask nice and was rewarded with the tastiest Piña Colada this side of a Caribbean Cruise. Honestly, you just can't go wrong with a trip to Redline. The beer, and now the rum, is always made with love and is always delicious!

Beer and cocktails were both really bad. The bar also smelled really bad. Bartender was very nice, which was the only redeeming quality really.
