The Pita Post

THE best falafel pita in Metro Detroit. Only ever been when they park at Fleat but every one is super nice and food comes out fast.I wish y'all were open year round!

My favorite truck at Fleat! The falafel is delicious, my only complaint is that there isn't enough. The avocado ranch is a great addition to any dish served here with the spicy option!

Got the falafel boy with salad bowl $9 with extra falafel combo for $3 extra. Made the meal $13 with tax. The taste of the falafel balls are great! I think they bake the balls - no oil. That was excellent! Although, I was expecting a spring mix in the salad, not lettuce. I wish that was better explained. But the tahini sauce & hummus was great! One star off bc of the generic lettuce & the high cost for the portion size.

Delicious food every time. Excellent service. My favorite is the schnitzel. The pita bread is great it's much better then you get at the middle eastern restaurants.

Great middle eastern food truck. I love that their pitas have no oil or sugar added and you have the option to turn the menu item into a pita or salad bowl. The staff is very friendly and quick to make your entree. I always opt for the falafel boy - salad bowl style. It is filling but not over the top I stuffed myself. The veggies taste fresh and are all natural and the best part there isn't too much garlic where you can't go back into work, but still enough to have amazing flavor. They aren't chinsy when it comes to the falafels either, you get 6-8 of them in your salad bowl.You can check out their website and they will let you know where they will be for that week!Love Pita Post Food Truck for lunch!

I had eaten here before at several catered events and I have eaten at the permanent truck located at Detroit Fleat. First of all the pita bread is amazing. Probably the best fresh bread I have ever had for a sandwich in the US. All the other flavors have been on point and my two favorite are the falafel and corned beef sandwiches. I know corned beef seems strange as a pita sandwich but it's really a great spin on this typical Jewish deli type of food. I travelled to Israel this summer and had amazingly fresh falafel/shwarma sandwiches in many different cities. I have to say upon returning home there is nothing close to Pita Post in authentic flavors of the falafel and bread that you will find in Detroit. I have also tried many establishments in dearborn and around metro Detroit and nothing compares to the freshness and quality flavors of Pita Post. Their bread really makes the biggest difference but even the salads are great. Don't sleep on this food truck. I think it tops all the brick and mortar establishments I have tried so far for Mediterranean food. Very authentic, great food, great price.

The Pita Post was the best food truck experience I've had by far. The pita is mouthwateringly fresh, they bake it on the truck each day. All 4 of the pitas are full of fresh hummus, vegetables, and meat (or falafel). We tried all four pitas and they were all delectable! Great price, amazing food, wonderful service-- this place has got it all!

I went to the Birmingham farmers market today and got the falafel pita. It was amazing and loved all the toppings! I hope they come back.

Falafel perfection, full of flavor, cooked perfectly and not oily. Look for them at Fleat in Ferndale! Staff is kind and human.

We had The Pita Post food truck cater our office event. Everyone raved about the delicious pitas! Tal was super easy to work with and provided great service with a smile! The truck is attractive and clean, we were thrilled with the whole experience! Will definitely hire them again for another event!
