Not my first time and won't be my last. I love coming here for breakfast. Staff is always friendly and place is clean. They are pretty busy during the weekend so plan for that. I got the Belgium Waffle strawberry a la mode. Absolutely gourmet! The flavor was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back.

I feel guilty rating this place three stars but I have to be honest.I have been here twice, only. Both times have been subpar, with my most recent experience being very poor (the day after Christmas). The restaurant has a system where they have you stand in line with your party until a table is ready. They'll pull parties from the line as the tables open so it isn't really in a first come first serve basis (completely fine, not my complaint whatsoever). I found the hostess to be a bit snub-like. Not welcoming or warm in the least. Even the person on my right was incredibly rude and trying to point directions - to the point that I had to remind her she wasn't an employee.When we finally got seated, the table was empty - no napkins, no silverware, water, nothing. The hostess was helping other tables with those items and must've passed us five different times. We kept inquiring about silverware and only realized they were short a dishwasher because they were informing the other tables. It felt so strange to be treated so strangely from the beginning. Our exhausted waitress finally showed up with water and coffee. I couldn't drink my coffee for 10 minutes because she kept forgetting silverware and a straw so I can at least mix cream and sugar. I was shocked to still see us charged almost $4 for hot coffee that was cold. The food was as good as your usual diner if I'm honest. Decent omelet, soft hash browns that could've stayed on the griddle a little longer, and the option for homemade white bread on the side (which was absolutely delicious with butter wow). I will say the Apple Fritter pancake thing was the star of the show. Hot and delicious!!My last comment: I promise I'm not a difficult customer - I work in the industry and understand the struggle. But for a restaurant to continue complaining that a dishwasher called off, I was surprised to see all of our food on separate plates. I'm talking about my omelet was on one plate, hashbrowns on one plate, pancakes on one plate, toast, etc.And I will say that my parents absolutely LOVE this place but it just isn't for me, sorry.

It's hard to find a good Eggs Benedict at a very busy diner. I took the leap of faith because my dad brought me here when I was a kid and the memories tug at my heart. They are only open for a few hours a day, so if you are hankering diner food after 2pm, you are out of luck. The Eggs Benedict are homemade. The sauce is truly authentic. Max was happy with his breakfast.

Great place to start your day or after work. Family atmosphere, great customer service. Too bad the iconic sign was put down due to safety issues or the city needs an extra source of income? Foods are great as always like home cooked meal.

You really can't go wrong at this place. Everything is freshly made to order and the sizes are unbelievable. Their applesauce is unbelievable. Make sure you get the apple pancakes or the German pancakes. She won't be disappointed.

We stopped by for an early breakfast before meeting our realtor. This place stood out on Google due to its 1000 plus reviews. We arrived early before 8am and we were seated right away. Don't be fooled by the small restaurant area. This place does pack its tables and customers very tightly, but it feels homey. We were served water and coffee right away while looking at the menu. I couldn't decide what to order since everything sounded so good. I ordered one of their omelets with a stack of pancakes. My husband ordered country fried steak. We didn't wait too long until our orders arrived and holy crap it was a lot of food. We started to eat, and it was so good. The omelet was packed with a good number of veggies and meats. It was fluffy and hot. I tried my husband's country fried steak, and it was tender, not salty and the gravy was creamy and had the right amount of texture. We enjoyed every bite of our breakfast. Service was great and parking was not an issue despite the parking lot being a little small. Highly recommend stopping by.

Came here with a friend by recommendation of friend! Was unsure walking in with the whole wait in line no check in but it moved so quick! We were quickly sat and I began to contemplate everything.... Well because everything sounded delicious. I seen a special menu board with a few extra specials including pumpkin crepes, yum! I settled on the Dutch baby seeing I have never had one but have always wanted to try. Our waitress was super sweet and never let my coffee get below half full. Our food came quickly, and I quickly dove into my Dutch baby. Topped with lemon and powder sugar this light fluffy pancake style pastry was so delicious and different. I would love the try the other german pancakes they offer. As well as the variations of crepes and pancakes. Definitely your traditional diner setting but that's what I love!

The food service and atmosphere is perfect for me visiting my former home Detroit from California. Food perfect and tasty. Staff a treat.

Wow!! What a surprise, great food fast service and friendly staff. Very busy week place and it's busy for a reason. Had the Paul Bunyan plate which was way more than I should have ate. Try this place out if you're in the area.

The omelette was good just too small in size. Only received a serving spoon of potatoes. I was overly excited at the presentation at first because I received my individual orders in these nice square to go boxes. It was diffeeent than your typical styrofoam lol, but when I looked inside the boxes, I thought I was going to be met with a beautiful presentation of my breakfast, instead it was just my omelette and potatoes on a paper plate as if I made it in my kitchen for the kids, it was disappointing, but the food wasn't bad at all, just didn't receive enough portion for the price.
