My husband and I have been here a couple times and had great experiences. It was long ago enough that I don't remember what we had the first time, but the delicious bourbon drink I got the second time was almost certainly the same thing that caught my eye the first time. It was great and I look forward to getting it again next time.Last week I got the salmon and hubs got the filet. His filet was overcooked, but they were quick to fix it and the second was great. The salmon had a fantastic honey-ish coating that was perfectly crunchy - I loved it. The veggies that came with were also just right.I've recommended this to several other people who I'm sure would be happy with their visit too.

This restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, so there is one t of parking. The vibe of it is very nice, fun, and romantic.We ordered the feta crostini and it was amazing. The cauliflower was fried but still tasted fresh and not oily. It had some town sauce inside the battering that was really good. The jerk fries needed more seasoning but i loved the way they tasted cause they were shoestring fries. The steak tips weren't my favorite cause of the charring but the other folks at my table loved them and said it was their favorite. I ordered the MI salad which was huge and refreshing. We also got the short ribs. They were cooked very well, but I personally would have liked more flavor.

Nice decor and a nice patio area. Cocktail selection is rather weak. Appetizers:Shrimp appetizer only came with four shrimp??Parm fries were plentiful EntreesNew York Strip steaks that were order medium were a good cook. I ordered mine medium rare and it was rather rare, but I would rather have it under cooked than over, but it needed another couple minutes. Potatoes with the steak were very good. Burgers that were ordered one was way over cooked and one was a nice medium. They did come with a generous portion of fries. ShareablesAsparagus- nothing fancyWhipped potatoes - sour cream whipped mash. Once again nothing fancy. It was an okay experience nothing outstanding that would make me return.

Very enjoyable dinner last night at this place. Warm welcoming and seated right away. Choice of high top, booths or tables...always nice to have a choice. We started with the Brussels sprouts/bacon app. It was good but honestly a little dry. But I'd order it again. The bread is DIVINE! With warm butter. And they will just keep bringing it. I had the chicken and wild mushroom on linguine. Very good. But it's very, very mushroom tasting. I liked it, I love mushrooms...it's a strong mushroom dish! My friend has the steak bite app as her main course. There's definitely enough for a main course. Very tenderThanks Nick for excellent service and for those delicious drinks. I'll definitely be back to this lovely place.

To preface- we have not had a bad experience here. The food simply doesn't live up to the prices. $32 for a mushroom pasta with very dry chicken and over $30 for dry salmon is ridiculous to me. Our bill for the 2 of us was $115 without a tip! (We had 2 drinks each). Our server (who was also the bartender) was attentive and the birthday dessert was a nice touch, however, I can't justify spending this much on mediocre food. I get the feel they are trying to be an upscale restaurant in a strip mall, it just doesn't fit.

Stopped in for dinner, had a wonderful time. The ambiance is amazing, the staff are super kind. Critiques: the cocktails are very forgetful, I've also tried the brunch menu cocktails and they were just as bland. The food however, incredible. When I had my first bite of bread and butter I knew this was about to be an exquisite meal. Soups were delicious, but the lettuce leaves on my caesar salad lacked a little crunch. BUT THE STEAK TIPS? Incredible, loved the crunch of the burnt parks and the juicy meat inside. The mushroom chicken pasta was also incredible but I am a little lost as to why there was mozzarella and balsamaic on top of the chicken. With the sauce being as flavorful as it is, it seems like that was more of a plating choice than flavor choice. Overall we will be coming back, I may sound like a picky gal but it is hard to find food nearly as good as the food here.

Arrived around 7pm on a Saturday and noticed there was decent crowd dining in the outdoor patio. Something must be good, so we gave it a try. We were seated inside and thankfully no wait because there weren't as many diners inside. The restaurant is casual and nicely decorated. Plenty of seating with several half round booths available along with the regular tables. Decent bar towards the back of the restaurant with nice high seats. They have a reasonably priced menu with a nice variety to choose from, especially the drink menu. For my dinner selection I chose based on recommendation of our server. He stated their house specialty is the seared sea scallops so I went for it. Although the scallops were cooked perfectly, the mixture of the balsamic glaze and bacon jam was a strange combination with the scallops and polenta. Unfortunately the glaze/jam was throughout the dish so I ate only the scallops off the plate and thankfully ordered the whipped potato side to salvage the meal. I also had the Michigan Apple salad which was fresh and tasted like the typical blue cheese/dried cherry/pecan salad one would expect.The entree was not to my liking but it's not to say that all the other items aren't worth a try. And while I applaud bold, unconventional tastes, I'll probably stick with more conventional dishes at Oakland for now.

used to have a BOMB bruschetta chicken Caesar. Recently changed to a sub par version of a chicken Caesar out of no where to save a couple penny's (As if there wasn't enough profit margin in a $22 chicken Caesar salad already). No bueno, terrible look

Went here for a SUnday brunch and had a wonderful experience. Outdoor seating on a beautiful day with amazing service from Max. Had a Mimosa flight and the Baja Chicken Hash and my taste buds and memories are generating saliva again. Highly recommend!
