The Oak Barrel

I must update from my prior reviews. We came a couple of times and did not have a good service. Tonight was all we had hoped for in a lounge in Wyandotte. Great service, good music, and the ambiance is moody and chill. Drinks are delicious!

Never knew this place existed! Super cute love the ambiance and the furniture! The Espresso martini 10/10!!!! They use actual coffee! The only sad part there wasn't much music but still loved it

A nice little place that has couches and a large bar. The issue is the drinks. This place has gone down hill significantly in the past 3 or 4 months; unbalanced cocktails, untrained bartenders, overall just really poor drinks. The bartenders are super nicesl, but their drink making skills leave a lot to be desired. I can't continue to come here and pay $13-$15 for unbalanced cocktails. I don't think I will go back.

Feels like Detroit, complete with Detroit prices!This is a completely renovated space. It's dark, it's sexy, it's actually comfortable. The bartenders were cute and knowledgeable. Just know you're going to be spending $12+ for a cocktail here, which feels weird in Wyandotte, but it's worth it. Their whiskey selection was impressive. The bartender mentioned one I've never had before and I showed interest, and he grabbed me a small sample. Super-sweet gesture!This is a great spot for a date, pre- or post-dinner cocktail, or just to grab a nightcap before calling it a night.

If you love Bourbon, you need to check this new place out! They have an amazing selection!! We absolutely loved the atmosphere! It's a very cozy place with lots of couches and a huge bar. One of the owners, Kevin, was bartending. He had a great personality and was quick to educate and help with our selections. The cocktail menu is currently limited but they are working on a much larger selection. They do not plan to offer food but will be offering some fantastic charcuterie boards. Yum. I absolutely adore a good charcuterie board! September is Bourbon month so they have Weds features all month that look amazing!! We plan on spending our Weds here for the month! They are also considering doing some bourbon and cocktail classes. This is definitely something we both love to do, so we are going to encourage this. Obviously we will be back. For context, Wayndotte is about an hour from us. So if we are making this commitment, it says a great deal about the amazing experience we had here. Hope to see some of you there!

Fancy cocktails l, great atmosphere, good prices, they keep adding to menu. Great for a chill fun night or date. Attentive and chic

The absolute best craft cocktail lounge around. Every drink I have ever had is amazing. Allot of the times I let the bartender just go with it and create something and I'll try it! Pricey but so worth it

Not a bad spot but not for a large group. The waitresses took over 20 mins to bring me one drink and then mixed up the bills for our party. I paid with cash and said I needed change and she never came back. I had to go up to the bar and ask for my change (I was owed $25 even after a tip).
