The Loft Cigar Lounge

This Black-owned business is very nice. You can have a wonderful smoke and a great drink. The service is excellent and attentive. It's a high-quality place for either a date night or just hanging out with your people.

Visiting Detroit for a work trip and searched "black owned cigar lounges" this popped up by my hotel. My husband and I came through around open on a Saturday. The vibe was so relaxed. Yolan (I believe her name is) was so welcoming and helpful. I got a pina colada cigar and she made me a nice tropical coconut rum cocktail to pair with it. They allow outside food, so we ordered from burger basement that she told us was a good meal choice. I will definitely pop back over here on my next visit.

Awesome vibe nice selection of cigars. Very clean and great air quality. Only negative is that they don't serve alcohol. However, you can bring your own.

A little far from where I live but worth the drive. They have a great selection of cigars and many that others in my area have not been able to get their hands on. I always come here for my Upsetters brand {the original rude boy}. Nice location with a bar and it's Black owned. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Members only lounge with members lockers. Comfortable seating with TVs and they offer board games. Outdoor seating available as well. They do not serve food but do allow you to bring your own. They also have hosted events to buy a taste new cigars. Please check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Soooo, I'm updating my review. I really wanted to like this lounge, so I'm glad I told my experience to someone and they urged me to try it again.I spent some time at The Loft Saturday night. This visit sealed the deal for me becoming a regular customer.I spoke with the owner extensively, he personally made sure my friend and I enjoyed our evening. He was regretful that I experienced the previous mishaps and displayed the utmost professionalism and hospitality.We enjoyed our cigars and drinks; and also learned a little more about the lounge.I will definitely return and I will continue to introduce new folks to the Detroit cigar lifestyle, starting with The Loft as the go-to for our culture.

Great vibe, service, and cigar selection. Drinks are a little pricey, but they had great options as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent here.

First evening home in Detroit my Lady took me to meet another couple for cigars and happy hour. Always great to support Black Business. The cigar selection was nice as were the drinks that were crafted by a young lady who KNEW what she was doing (Old Fashioned me please!!!) They don't have a kitchen but they welcome deliveries from neighboring business to get food to their patrons without them leaving. They also had a live DJ that spun nice & smooth tunes ( as this is a place of chill). plenty of TV's and it was also well ventilated. A decent size place that feels intimate it's my new Detroit Cigar spot.

My favorite cigar lounge. The ambiance is great, the staff is amazing and attentive, and you'll even see the owner hanging out every now and then! 10/10
