The Little Bar Restaurant

On Thursday 02-29-2024 My husband's family celebrated two birthdays & progression of recovery of brain surgery done DEC last year. The family reserved the more private room offside of dining room. 8 adults were in attendance & each person ordered a different dinner. The food was delicious...just scrumptious! Our server was well trained & naturally poised. Thank you to Little Bar's Chef!! We'll be back & recommend to others. Thank You, Terrance & Sue Avery, Marine City

The new owner has this place humming the food is excellent the service better yet. Quaint interior and a great downtown to visit after.

This is one of our main places to go. Been there several times. Service is usually pretty good. Can be somewhat slow at times but the girls are always hustling. We've tried most of the menu which has never disappointed. One of my personal favorites is the Cajun tortellini pasta. The place is small so reservations are best.

We've been here several times. Always the food & service was very good.Last time was on a Wed night, so the perch or pickerel basket was the daily special. Wife got the pickerel basket & I got the pickerel dinner. Definitely stick with the basket. Same amount of fish, just smaller ones in the basket. Didn't realize the caesar salad was another $1.50. So, for $12 you get the basket & for $20 you get the dinner. Fish in the basket was very good. Fish in the dinner was a little dry. I think too much breading.And if you are going to ban smoking on the patio, include immediately outside the fenced in patio. I love the smell of smoke, but only the BBQ kind.

Salad was fresh and wonderful. Sesame chicken was so salty would never order again, really didn't belong on the menu Could of had better from a carry out joint

Oh, Reanna, hasn't anyone told you it's not nice to lie? This food is most assuredly from your restaurant located in Marine City. If you'd like I could produce the receipt which would coincide with my review. While the grammas decor was a joke, my review of your restaurant and food was not. I have been to your restaurant twice since under your ownership and both times have been incredibly bad. That burnt fish with wilted lettuce is from your restaurant. You should be ashamed for trying to lie. It just makes it all the worse.

Love the updated atmosphereService was excellent....but you go for the food. All the appetizers cost as much as your meal. Very high app prices, the entree prices are more reasonable.*French Onion Soup is sweeter than most desserts. So sweet neither of us ate it. *Blue cheese dressing is funky. Gritty and just off. Even the color is weird. *French fries have a weird coating on them that leave the worst grease film on your tongue.*Average burger*Average steakI hope the new ownership can address a few more things. It's better than before, but not there yet.

Dined here on May 30. A dirty martini was ordered and it was obvious by the color and taste that it was not made correctly. Sent it back and the next one was just satisfactory. We ordered the rib eye steak and plank salmon. The steak was extremely salty and not edible. The salmon was very dry but edible. The server was told the steak was was not satisfactory and would not be eaten. She did not offer an alternative and the meal was on our bill when we checked out. Our displeasure was expressed to the "manager" and she said it would be taken off the bill. So far we have not seen a credit, but it could still happen. We are so disappointed because we want to support local small businesses. We will probably not return.

Really enjoyed their Creole Chicken Tortellini! it was exceptional after a very nice fresh salad. we will be back soon.

Very good food and drink menu and the food was excellent. Service was a bit spotty as server hadnt had any of the food that was being asked to choose between. Sort of had to ask for things, did not feel very welcome. Were thinking dessert but server brought check without asking is of we wanted anything. Very reasonably priced so used dessert and coffee savings on DQ on way out. Will go back for the food but kinda know now what we are getting in terms of service.
