(If I could give a half star, I'd go 3.5 here, but I can't so I rounded up to 4.) Pretty chill environment, cool decorations, but not really my personal vibe. It's definitely more restaurant-y than bar-y. I didn't come here to eat, but I was pleasantly surprised by the varied menu and everyone I was with that did eat said the food was good. Nothing to write home about, but solid classic American food. Also the bill was not bad at all, really fairly priced! Our server was nice enough.

Very slow service when it did not appear to be busy. The server admitted they were new but I was surprised that they didn't have any training or shadowing. - Over 30 minutes between sitting down to ordering- No refills until I asked- Forgotten items, especially the soup we saw sitting at the kitchen window...- Failed to leave a pen with the bill (and it took over 5 minutes for the server to come back so we could have one)We constantly showed grace and still tipped 20%+, but the food wasn't worth the hassle

We went in for lunch I got the fish and chips The food was very hot and fresh the chips were super hot i always hate when the cook serves cold food as a result of waiting for something else to cook and let me tell you he timed everything perfectly. With that being said the food was probably average but the exceptional service and (hot) food goes a long way with me.also the prices were great. I would definitely recommend this place and one more thing this place is a definite sports bar the ambiance was casual and cool

I went for dinner with a friend. From the start, there was a cigarette smell to the place - but I saw No one smoking. Our waitress was great, the burgers were nice and greasy. The place was busy, but not crowded (I felt comfortable being at to sit away from people). Staff and customers were not wearing masks. On the way out, I found out the cause of the smell - they have a separate room for smokers. The only door is get in or out is through the restaurant - and no open windows or fans in the smoking room, causing smoke to come in the restaurant.

Good food and service. Laid back dive bar vibe without being too stabby. Tons of TVs for sporting events. Touch tunes juke box. Vape vending machine. Giant Captain Morgan statue. Good old school bar.

My wife and I have enjoyed The Hideout for nearly a decade. The staff is always SUPER friendly and helpful, the prices are always reasonable, and the food is always good.Tonight we celebrated my wife's birthday with friends for the first time since Covid hit here. Josie and Kaitlyn were AMAZINGLY friendly, helpful, and attentive. A testament to the consistent quality of staff we've experienced.Thank you, Josie & Kaitlyn, for making the night that much better, and thank you, Hideout, for being such a consistently great neighborhood bar.
