The Grill

The service was very good. The tuna melt was yummy (ask for whole wheat instead). Looking forward to trying more items.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. We had breakfast there last week. I ordered the ranchero omelette which was one of the best omelettes I've eaten. I order the home style potatoes and the waitress brought hashbrowns. When I brought it to her attention she apologized and said toKeep the hashbrowns and she would get the correct potatoes for me. Very polite about it. About 3 minutes later the manager came rushing out with a plate stating I had to give back the hashbrowns if I wanted the potatoes I ordered. No problem. However, she was very rude about it. I had to scrape the hashbrowns off my plate for her. My husband also ordered the home style potatoes. He didn't get his with to the rest of his meal either. We were almost done eating by the time the potatoes arrived. Mistakes happen, but the way the manager responded, rushing out with a plate extended in front of her, with an attitude really rubbed me the wrong way. It was their mistake, not mine. My husband's meal was average. The biscuits and gravy weren't very good but his bacon was crisp. We had high hopes for this restaurant but likely won't be back to try again.

I've lived in west Bloomfield for almost a year now and every time I've tried to dine in here, my schedule just never aligned with theirs lol but I finally made it! It's like an upscale diner in a sense, but with better food and alcohol! My friend loved the Mediterranean tacos and the fried pickles are always a must. I liked my Greek chicken wrap but would try something else next time

Great service. Lauren and Emma are awesome! I had a great omlette for breakfast last time and a pork Osso Bucco tonight. It was incredible! Tender and delicious. The owner always comes up with really cool specials.

The question was can I do an omelet as a skillet, answer NO. What why? I'm sure they have a cook or chef in the back to make modifications or changes to items but at the grill the answer is a hard no. As a customer I think this answer is a bunch of Bologna. My vegetarian counterpart was looking to change one of the menu items an omelet to a skillet (no eggs) because the grill has almost zero vegetarian items for breakfast, told a hard no on any modifications. Honestly this makes no sense and I would love to hear back from the grill management as why you can't make changes to items on the menu. It sucks cuz I actually like this place but I won't be coming here with my wife for breakfast because they have nothing to offer. This establishment should make changes to that policy so customers can modify menu items for their dietary restrictions. I hope to hear back from the Grill. Also I'm here at the restaurant now ordered huevos rancheros, but got delivered an omelette. Then when I told the waitress it wasn't what I ordered I received quite a bit of attitude back she grabs the plate and storms off. Sorry Grill with this experience is definitely one star.

I was pleasantly surprised coming here for breakfast on Sunday morning. I was absolutely famished, it was pouring rain and I needed a decent meal ASAP. This place was a few miles away from where I was staying, so I figured I'd take a gamble to see what it was all about. I really didn't know what to expect walking in. Is this going to be yet another coney style breakfast? I hoped not.Walking in, I was the only person waiting to be seated as I think the rain was keeping people home. I was seated immediately and pleasantly surprised to see a great menu selection of breakfast items. My server was prompt and really super nice. I was relieved to see that this was actually quite a nice place to eat!I went with the Huervos Rancheros because I like to have that for breakfast. Now, mind you, I'm a bit of a judgy snob about how it comes out, tastes and looks. Some places do it real well, and others do not. Do I eat it when the food comes out? Yes. But again, its a pass/fail deal for me. Surprisingly, this place did it right and I loved it! Definitely delicious, visually appealing and well done! My only complaint about it was they put a ton of guacamole on it but not enough sour cream. Actually, I don't remember any sour cream at all or salsa. Dang. Oh well. It was early and the food was good, so I didn't really care at that point.Overall, I really liked it here. If I lived closer, I would probably dine here more often just for the breakfast alone. Prices on point, great menu selection and all that good stuff. Thank you, I had a good time The Grill!

The breakfast here is good. The food is plentiful and tasty. It's definitely a step up from dennys. The staff was kind hoping entering, but our waitress was definitely scattered from having three tables. This is a good place to go if you do not want to wait or if you simply do not want to travel 15 minutes to better options. Will likely be back, but the food is only average. They did have plenty of selections though.

Came here right as mini snow storm started as we pulled in, we decided to dine anyways. Worked out nicely we got to sit by the window and watch the snow fall over the pines outside! I seen pineapple upside down pancakes and I was already sold! Got a side of loaded potato's , the husband got a Belgian waffle. The pineapple pancakes were the most delicious sugary breakfast I've had in a long time! Little did I know the pancakes came with butter rum syrup! Say what?? The pineapples were glazed and Caramelized from being on the grill! I don't usually do sweet I'm a savory gal but this was a nice break from the norm!

Wet in earlier in week, at lunch, with 2 friends. Never been there before. One of us got a skillet, the other a salad and 3rd a reuben sandwich. For a treat we decided to split an order of onion rings. for $6 we got a measly 7 onion rings. That put a real damper on the meal. The rest of the food was pretty good, but after the O ring let down we were not feeling like we'd come back here again. There are other places around that have food as good, or better, and a better value.

Food is consistently good with great service. Have been there for lunch and for breakfast. Nice that there is a bar too.
