The Draft

I've grown quite fond of this sports bar tucked away in a strip mall. Looking at the tinted windows and generic posters, from the outside you wouldn't expect much more than a dive bar with a couple of TV's. What a great surprise to find an absolute fantastic sports bar. Tons of TV's fill the walls of the bar, immersing you in a many viewing options. The biggest and best surprise I've had coming here though has to be the food. I've had the pizza and then most recently their version of the Monte Cristo. Of course, the gold standard for me for this sandwich is the Bennigan's version. Is it really the best? Probably not, but it's what I remember loving growing up and what I hold all future Monte Cristos against. This one was very good. On one hand I really enjoyed that it was crispier than I've had before, but I think it did change the flavor a little especially dipping it into the raspberry jam. The only real knock I have on the place is their craft beer selection. Kind of plain Jane. Wouldn't mind having a couple more exotic choices to the list.But that's just a minor issue and really doesn't take away from the overall great experience. Great staff, great service, great food and a great time.

The food tasted great but skimpy on the corned beef portion...The boneless chicken (Garlic Parm) was delicious!

Food is average and inconsistent. Ordered the same thing two of my visits, The Dragon Burger, first time it was good but I had to ask for fried Jalapenos that were listed in the description but not on the burger. Burger was overcooked, they don't ask a temp it just comes well done. 2nd time same thing but the server told me that she didn't think it was suppose to have those on it...my wife got the Nashville Chicken sandwich one of our visits and the chicken was over fried, breading was like it was scorched and chicken was very dry because of it being over cooked. They had a good amount of tables in there each time we've been there but the service was slow and they're very inattentive and food takes a long time to come out, at least check and see if we need more beers while we're waiting forever for food... Our last visit, the woman who appears to have been a manager spent her time sitting at the bar talking to people there and drinking and would only get up to do something when a server came up to her. Seems like she treated it more like a place to hangout than a job.Atmosphere is good, decor looks great but without consistent food and service none of that matters.

I'm a huge fan of any place that can properly execute two things: a good Olive burger, and sweet potato fries. The draft delivers both. Always my go to when I come, my pro tip is to add a side of sriracha Mayo to dip your fries in as an addition to the sweet (caramel?) sauce they give you. Crisp, sweet, and full of flavor. The olive spread they put on the burger is delicious, I get it in the side so I can take the extra home. Good beer selection that gets rotated, and the custom drinks are always a hit. Honestly, probably the best place to eat in creek, and as this is my hometown, I've a fairly good judge.

Came in in for some wings and a few drinks. Great place to hang with the friends and catch up. Wings were delicious. Our server Red, is a gem and didn't miss a beat. Whatever she's paid is not enough.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner a few weeks ago and let me just say... Delicious burgers. Wow. I had the bourbon glazed burger and had my wig blown back to last year. The waitress was very busy, but still nice and attentive. It was loud, but I didn't expect any less. They had some games going on the TV's and a live DJ doing a Jeopardy sort of thing. It was really good and the music was great. We will definitely be back.

Does not have the grilled veggie wrap as advertised. I waited on hold for a few minutes to hear the news.

my family and I went for dinner, I understand that it is Valentine's day but it was not crazy busy. the service was terrible and we were there for over an hour and just got apps and drinks. we told the server that we would order the apps then order the dinner. he never came back. my husband ordered a second beer and he never placed it. we were not the only table that left when we did. My husband and I worked in the industry for many years and are a little more lay back. but we frequent the Draft this was the most terrible experience. My husband did not even want to pay the bill. My child accidentally knocked his drink off the table and when I asked for paper towel or something to clean it up, I was told to give me 5 minutes. It was right at the front and I was worried someone would slip and fall but I guess that doesn't matter.

First time visit, we had a party of 4 and the wife and I were visiting from Texas . The staff was very attentive I ordered the Bellaire Brown not knowing what to expect , this beer was very cold and very good!!! Also all of our entree's were great ,loaded fries monte cristo and the Rueben sandwich. Definitely give this place a try you won't be disappointed, atmosphere is great TV's everywhere plus a pool table and dart board.

The Monte Cristo has been an elusive sandwich for some time, and if any restaurant has it on the menu, I'm there. This one did not disappoint, in quality or quantity. In fact, "not disappointing," is an inadequate phrase. This take on the sandwich was amazing! Perfectly executed and well-presented with enough jam to take the beast down! The fries were excellently seasoned and well-crisped without being burnt. Per another review, I'll have to add the sriracha mayo for dipping when next I return (and I will).Service was outstanding. It wasn't a long wait, with our food or with refills. The atmosphere is typical bar and grill style, and I don't consider that a bad thing. Music was not too loud and made for a fun guessing game of artists and song titles for my daughter and me. If anyone shows up of an evening and claims inaccuracy in my review, I must add the disclaimer that we came early in the afternoon, so it wasn't particularly busy, and the libation wasn't as free-flowing as it would be in the later pm hours.My daughter was also blown away by the Dragon Burger, as she found it spicy enough to enjoy rather than being a novelty that's too hot to order for anything more than a dare. Looking for a good eatin joint is one of my daughter's and my favorite pastimes, and The Draft helped make a good day into a great one. Thank you for earning a five-star review!
