More of a thick stew, imagine cutting open a Stuffed Green Pepper and eating the inside . Jimmy the chef is really proud of all his Soup, great job . A rare visit to the East side of town got me to stop in. She had the Mega Chicken Cobb Salad a massive treat could feed 4 folks. A nice selection of Southern Soul Food that will have me coming back for more. Salmon Croquettes Egg's n Grits for the win. Just look three nice size perfect prepared Salmon Patties Wowed. In the ongoing search for great breakfast we found another spot! It's got what ya need, clean, efficient staff, great food. What more can you ask for? The menu is ample with some cool selections that set aside from the tired everyday breakfast places that serve you the plain basics. I'd say if your in the area or headed downtown this place isn't far off the beaten path and worth a shot.

This was a pleasant surprise on a dreary Sunday morning! The food was excellent and came out in a pleasant amount of time. The waitress and host were spectacular and mannered. The restaurant is cozy and well setup. We will be back!

Even though this location is tiny the service and food was really good. They make you feel like you are down south at a great local spot.

I thought I would give them a try for lunch,so I ordered the chicken and waffles. I ordered takeout and service was very good. They were polite and fast. The food was average at a reasonable price. If you're looking for a quick decent meal this is the place.

Excellent food, great service, easy parking. Veggie skillet and Hulk burrito are my favorites. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and nice decor. Highly recommended. Usually here for breakfast, but occasional lunch is awesome, too.

My Brother and I go here for breakfast on Saturday mornings. The food is excellent and the staff are the best. They make you feel so welcomed, they can really turn a dark day into sunshine. They specialize in Chicken and waffles, but that would be too much for me. The Croissant sandwich is massive, delicious and a great value. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. I had a waffle today with sausage links, and they did not disappoint! The music could be a little louder, but I suppose that's just me. We highly recommend.

The country fried steak and veggie skillet were delicious! The restaurant was comfortable and we were seated very quickly. Our waitress was wonderful and the prices were great!

So this is the newest location for Cracked Egg. The original location is in Grosse Pointe. As for someone who has ate at the other location so many times, it's nice to have one a bit closer to home. I came here with a buddy of mine who got me into eating at the original location. We had to try the new one since we love the other one so much. I will say starting off the menu isn't the full menu as the original place. That was kinda heart breaking since my buddy liked a few items that he couldn't get here. The inside is for sure smaller feel than the other location. We sat down and ordered our food and it came out pretty fast, which I was happy the staff was on top of things. Our server was super sweet and made sure that the food came out right and to see if we needed anything else. I went with the feta cheese and spinach omelette since I'm a vegetarian. My buddy went with the Sunrise breakfast. We both weren't disappointment with the quality of the food. I'm happy to have one closer to home but at the same time we might be still going to the other one more since it has items on the menu my buddy gets a lot of the time and he can't get them at this one. I'll be coming here with friends of mine that wanna try a new breakfast place.
