Stop in here for breakkfast once in a while purely because of the convenience of being so close to home. The deals aren't bad- I don't think you could find a cheaper breakfast in Macomb unless you visited another Coney. The food is pretty basic, but nothing that you wouldn't expect for the cheap price. I stick to the staples and have yet to have bad pancakes or bacon (though the eggs can be dry at times)Despite how crowded they are, they try to turn tables fast. Its not the place to meet a friend if you're trying to catch up over a meal. Our waitress tried clearing our plates, brought us the check, and asked for it back despite the place being practically empty. When there's a line, I never hesitate to quickly clear my plate. However, I'd like to sit and enjoy my meal + conversation if no one else is waiting and most of the tabled are empty.

I have been a regular customer here till now. They charged me .89 extra ( Kraut and dressing) for two items on my sandwich which costs $8.49 alacarte. When I ordered the extra condiments I was unaware of the charges until the bill arrived. Upon paying asked for a manger and none were available and had no choice but to pay for the total as charged. I had a Reuben at the Marcus Grill a near by competitor and ZERO up charges for same extras. Tired of Nickel and dimes here. Lost a customer for life.

Observations: First time there and ordered 2 coneysConeys were mediocre at best, particularly the chiliOrder delivery was fast but that's normal for coneys only.Service: The blonde woman that sat me was a little uptight but K.B. the waitress was rude and about as fake as fake could be with the repeated eyerolls. It seems to be the wrong profession for this individual.Decor: Nice but a net 0 with such pathetic service.Value: 2 coneys for about $6 is not unreasonable in 2023.Final: I might come back in a year or so after they've had a chance to rotate staff and do some basic customer service training. That kind of job is easy. Maybe you could do a showing of the movie Clerks.Afterthoughts: I see people complained about hours and closing early. I can appreciate the staffing issues felt by just about everyone so I can overlook that for the purposes of this review. Nonetheless, you should have fought back against the lockdowns.
