The Classic Coney Cafe

Food is amazing. I love stopping in when I'm in the area to grab a quick bite to eat, doesn't matter the time of day the food is always worth eating. Service is quick. The ladies that take orders are so sweet and the guys behind the counter are pretty cool. Ambiance is...it's rough, it's a small hole in the wall restaurant. It's old, kinda dirty, and the bathroom gives final destination. If the owner got a professional cleaner or detailer to come clean the restaurant it would be beautiful. Overall: I love this restaurant its staff and food make it worth going to and worth overlooking its flaws.

Little place with reasonable prices. Great menu that is simple and good. We were able to get our RV in the parking lot, park easily and will pull straight out the other side. It's a bright and lively place. Friendly service. Kitchen grill is just in the dining room room but thankfully it wasn't hot inside. It's humid and warm outside. No waiting area or direction to seat yourself or wait to be seated. We figured it out. Good for Sunday breakfast. The food was excellent. Biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancakes, bacon and side of hash browns. All with coffee. Idk why the parking lot isn't packed. For what it is and the price, excellent.

stopped in for some corned beef hash - great service and food hit the spot! Good spot for me to get a little writing done in my journal. Perfect on this snowy morning! -Dr. John

Found this little place on the road. Very casual, greasy-spoon diner vibes (which I enjoy). The food was good, I had a gyro lunch. There servers were attentive to my needs. If I was in the area I would stop here again.

Conflicted review once again. The food seems good/great, the homemade salsa was exceptional. Heres the rub, cheap flatware set on the only napkin you receive, there are basic host issues here. I also sat and listened to my very bad "waitress" complain about a bad tipper. My question to her is how much do you deserve for ignoring my empty coffee cup as you stand in front of me chit chatting/bitching with co-workers? Go if hungry, they can handle it, service i suppose is apropos to shit-kicker michigan

Always fast, awesome breakfasts, good prices. A go to replacement for Grove's breakfast IMO.

Food and service are all good. Diner, truck stop type ambiance. Simple place with good food and service.

Good food and great service! It's nothing fancy but very friendly place where the locals go. We go there because it's relaxed and feels like a small town cafe

Nice place. Friendly staff, excellent food prepared when ordered. Classic is the word that should be used.
