St Paddy's day shenanigans! I have been here several times but he's been wanting to check it out for quite some time now. So we made sure to check out their St Paddy's Day celebration! We were excited to see that it was quite busy! They had a huge tent set up and most people were outside. I was being a baby about being chilly so we stayed inside. There were tables set up but no chairs and all of the booths had been removed. I am still not sure if this was a choice for this party, or if this is now the new norm. I loved the warm inviting seats they used to have and hope they bring them back. We were able to order some beers and then enjoyed the bag pipes. They used to have the most incredible Irish Nachos but they were no longer on the menu. Boo. I really want to come back when there isn't an event going on and see how it's set up. I really miss the old day.

Went two weeks ago with a coworker. Heard it finally reopened since Covid is all but over, at least for the left wingers running for reelection and say masks no longer necessary. Hard to find place at night, in back of Canterbury Village and so poorly lite up, one would never know its there.Well, walking in felt like I was in a English pub by its wall hangings. All seemed like a pretty cool atmosphere.A few, 10-12 people inside enjoying a drink and we looked for a stool at the bar, none not cause it was full just no stools at the bar. Sit at a table. So we sit down waited a few minutes before we were greeted and asked what we were having. A couple of beers on tap, no food.Pretty soon we were looking for a second drink, my brain said Irish Whiskey. As it was a week before St Patricks Day, English Pub. But.... So we waited for a waitress or bartender to get our drinks, noone around to assist us. When they did it wasnt our waitress but someone who saw we needed help. So I inquired about the Irish Whiskey's, not a one to be had. A week before St Patrick's and you have nothing?!?!? Well, won't be coming here for the Irish holiday that everyone celebrates. When she said she had Bourbon, I jumped for the Makers Mark, fearing a sell out. We all laughed.Had our second drink and got the heck out of here, won't be back.

They have the best trivia around Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. The staff is very friendly. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

OK pub off the beaten path that seems to have a following with the locals. Tucked in behind the Castle at Canterbury Village it offers basic fare and decent service. Pizza seems popular but is a bread bomb. The area around it has a creepy vibe with a path leading to oddball stores that never seem to have anyone around them. Closes too early at 10:00 for a pub. They are lucky that the closest competitor is miles away. Seems like a vanity project for the owners. C's pub......I give it a C.

Last time I mentioned their obvious mistake, they did not admit, so I tipped them low. They charged me 20% gratuity for party of 3 to my bill. I paid for that, but will never go back to this place. The waitress told us that this is owner's direction.Do not need to be treated that way. Felt very discriminated. It is not the money, but how they treated us.By the way, 20% tip is required for this restaurant in case you want to go to this restaurant according to the waitress.

Came here for a fellow colleague's retirement party on a Friday evening. We were on the second floor which was private for our party. The entrance is on the side and up the stairs. I heard that the room rental was also not that much and pretty reasonable. The room was accommodating with a handful of large-to-small tables as well as a cocktail table. The décor has a lot of wood/dark and felt like a pub/bar but was welcoming. There had to be at least 30 plus people at one point and the room felt a bit cramped but still able to hold everyone but not everyone could get a seat. Side tables had dessert and as well as appetizers set up as well as a cake. Plenty of room for all of these food items. All of the appetizers were amazing and tasty! Mushroom quiche, veggie spring rolls, spinach pie, mozzarella sticks, and veggie platter. All very good! Lots of other people got the fish and chips which everyone raved about. Good selection of wines and alcoholic drinks. Bathrooms were on the same floor as the second floor and were single stall. Wait staff were very friendly and did a great job with taking care of all the people there. I will definitely be coming back for dinner!

After not visiting the C-Pub for quite awhile, I decided to make another stop to see if I could raise my review for this place. I noticed that they had modified the menu a little bit since my last visit, for the good. I ordered the beer mac and cheese with a cup of beer cheese soup on the side. I didn't care too much for the soup (didn't like the chunks of vegetables), but the macaroni and cheese was pretty good. I wish I had a little more, but it was fine the way it came out. Get a side of chips if your entree allows you to! Sooo good!

This cool little pub is found behind King's Court Castle in Canterbury Village. It is a great place to eat and have a good time after strolling through the village. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. Tonight, I had a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. The pizza was big, crispy, and full of flavor. It also comes with Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes for topping if desired. If you go to the Clansman Pub, I would definitely recommend trying their pizzas. You won't be disappointed.

Service here is just bad. Overcharged, wait staff wouldn't fix it. Staff has bad attitudes. We told them we won't ever come back.
