I live in Los Angeles and was disappointed to learn that the Boneyard on Orchard Lake closed. During the Thanksgiving holiday, I was in town, and my family learned that the Boneyard still had their Dearborn location open.The owner was so nice to all of us; the food was terrific, and he even gave me a bottle of their famous barbeque sauce to take back to LA.Anyone who used to patronize the Farmington Hills location should make the trek to the Boneyard's original location. This restaurant knows how to keep its customers coming back.

Went here for the last time today, ordered a slab for two which is seven dollars more than a slab dinner I received a slab and two bones and an extra thing of coleslaw which is disguising. For the price I will find a mom and pop spot to spend my money with. Also the slab wasn't done.

The BoneYard is a staple for us. The restaurant is typical bbq design with wood everywhere. Booths are very spacious. The waitstaff is always great and you don't have to wait long to get served. The house BYB salad is awesome. The ranch is really good. I enjoy their onion tower. The onion rings are crispy and seasoned nice. I personally think they have the best BBQ sauce. I enjoy their ribs when we order them. Mostly we order the half chicken with cottage fries. You get garlic bread too. It's always very good, never been disappointed with the meal. Again, service is great and the food is good and filling.

As always a meal at boneyard, barbecue is one of the best rib choice in the area. The wait staff is great and always pleasant to deal with. The ribs come out hot and fr the potatoes are always cooked the way we like. When my husband wants ribs. This is our go to place.

Stopped by again for dinner. Goldie was our server, it was a very busy Sunday night. Goldie was quick to get our drinks and take our order. We got our salads right away (try the house salad with ranch, so good!). Our food came out soon after we finished our salads. We ordered 3/4 slab of bbq ribs dinner and 1/2 bbq chicken dinner. Everything was delicious and Goldie kept our drinks full and kept checking on us. We will very back!

This was my first time back to this place in almost 40+ years. I've been talking to my wife about this place since her and I have been together, luckily, we were finally in town for a convention. Let me tell you.......it was like I was 40 years younger. The food was SPOT ON! Just like I remember it.Our server was Tina. She was sweet and attentive without being annoying. I got the slab rib for 2 and my wife got a burger. The ribs were just like I remember them. The sauce....oh the sauce is still the same. And the potatoes and Cole slaw WOW!. I am so glad I don't like closer to this placeFood was amazing. Ribs are NOT fall off the bone tender like other places. I prefer a little "tug" in my ribs. If you want fall off the bone, go somewhere else. Cole slaw was just like I remember, nice and creamy. My wife enjoyer her burger. It was so big, she took half of it to the hotel for a snack later in the day. CANNOT wait to go back next year. If you stop in, be sure to ask for Tina. Oh, also - they DO provide military discount so be sure to mention that if you qualify.

Solid food, but subpar customer service. First time at this location in several years and I probably won't be back. We used to go here all the time growing up, but once we moved to north Oakland we've been going to the Farmington hills location. On our most recent visit for Memorial Day, we had the rib tips starter, the chicken and ribs combo and my mom got the triple play. As usual a ton of value. The issues I had mainly stem from the fact the chicken was a bit on the burnt side compared to the Farmington hills location, the lack of green onion(boneyard staple) and the snappy waitress who acted like she couldn't be bothered to actually wait on us. On a pure value basis, few places will beat Boneyard. You get like 2 pounds of food for 23 bucks. Enough to share and enough for multiple meals.

This is a negative review Because their called rotisserie ribs that are not of the same quality or flavor as they used to be This was a dine in visit during lunch ordered the rib combo ribs were tough could not even chew them sent them back and the next order was just as bad brought it to their attention. The lady became offended. I am officially done with boneyard ribs. They no longer take the time to cook them and they get rid of the old and give it to you.

The service was terrible never came back to check, never picked up our dirty dishes, the waitress actually sat a a table next to us and ate a meal while not noticing my table needed assistance, ribs were all fat no meat, potatoes were cold and some bigger cottage potatoes were ice cold on the inside. This is the 2nd and final time we will ever come to your restaurant. This was a horrible experience, I didn't really want to give one star, because this restaurant is a negative 0, I am pretty sure we both got food poisoning as we are both violently throwing up after this meal
