I have been here many times and I think Thursday is the best night by far. The bartender has a way of making everyone smile. Beers and beverages are cheaper here then anywhere else I've been in the area. They just got more beer on tap and have an impressive selection of canned beers with emphasis on Michigan and some German classics. The food has always looked delicious, but I just confess when I'm here I'm usually in a liquid diet. So I've only samples some items. If you are looking for high end. Expensive, loud music or night club like, this isn't your spot. If you want a nice bar to hang out and have a drink with friends, this is one of my favorites.

Should have read the reviews to better set my expectations. I thought there'd be a big selection of beer on draft with a name like biergarten, but that's not the case. This is more of a dive bar with a clearly old interior, and faint cigarette smell. Most of the beers I saw were canned. I'll give them props for having a lot of Michigan made beers. The one bartender was seemingly unexcited to have customers in the middle of the day and didn't make any attempt to chat. Cans were pulled from the cooler and we were given plastic cups to pour our own beers.

The sliders are great! This place is a small hole in the wall that you should stumble upon.

The beer was cheap and the chicken wings were decent. The service was not the greatest, but there was only 3 people working and it was pretty busy for a Thursday. They had outdoor seating as well which is nice. I will definitely go back.

This was a find, a real gem. We were looking for a place for a good burger on a Saturday night. It's a great old time neighborhood bar. We split the fried pickles and the sliders. They were delicious! If we ever get back to Dearborn, we will go back. Reminded me of the Billy Joel song, Piano Man!

Poor beer selection and NO social distancing. Did you have hope that this place would defy your low Downriver expectations? I did, but sadly it only confirmed stereotypes.Stick to Wyandotte, where at least you can find decent draft selection and business-owners who appreciate your safety.

The Biergarten has always been a great little local dive bar but they have stepped up their game in recent weeks. They have gone to outdoor - beer garden - only service. What a great idea! And they are making sure everyone wears masks and stays safe, while always being nice and friendly. If you never been, you need to go for Taco Thursdays when they make authentic steak and pork tacos. Delicious. Thanks Biergarten for being safe, responsible but still fun.

Jake and I thought we'd come here after reading the great reviews here on Yelp. When we arrived, we were the only customers in the entire bar. It was a little awkward because we were expecting some sort of hopping going on in a bar on a Friday night... Weird. There was one bartender/waiter whose eyes were glued to the big screen TVs. I'm surprised he noticed us at all.We got menus and both ordered the same thing: a cheeseburger, medium, with an order of French fries. Jake originally ordered chili, but the guy told us they were out of it. And onion rings. Bummer.Jake and I ordered a couple adult beverages and headed to the pool table. It only cost $.75 to play! Unfortunately, there was no 8 ball, haha, so we kinda improvised. We told the waiter and he came and opened a secret door on the table stand and gave it to us. That was fun. Our food came out mid-game and we paused to eat. The burger was DELICIOUS. It was juicy, well-seasoned and just the right size. And cheap, too... I think it was $3.75. The fries were really good, too. Nice and crunchy.Overall, the atmosphere suffered because there was no one there to enjoy it with us... but the food was good and the bill was cheap... Two things I appreciate. Id definitely go back. (They only accept credit card if the bill is over $20.)

This place is a ball. It looks a bit divey inside but you can tell the locals love jt. They have trivia nights. They have Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat on tap (a rarity). Great service and lots of fun.
