The 5th of Novi

I was pleasantly surprised when we visited 5th of Novi for dinner and drinks with friends. We just heard about it a few days ago and were excited to try it out! The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and on top of our orders. It was very clean and well kept, especially the game areas. The space is huge and has tons of room!The menu wasn't too extensive, but everything sounded SO good, it took us a little bit to decide. We ended up getting a bunch of appetizers with our group and we weren't disappointed! We got sushi, cheese curds, BBQ meat sticks, shrimp, and boneless wings (my personal favorite). Food was reasonably priced and wasn't too expensive! They also have happy hour specials.We didn't play any games, but we did get to see the Thursday night corn hole league. They have darts, Jenga, pong, and more. We talked to one of the employees and they said the upstairs was almost finished. They're planning to be able to use the space for events and such. Overall we were so pleased with our experience and will definitely be back soon!

2 bartenders on a Saturday night. The guy is so high he has no clue, the girl working was just takes selfies and drinks shots with customers! Waited 15 minutes each time to get drinks. Horrible.

Went here with some friends to each a game. Shitty service, bad food. If you think that works for you come on down. Staff people looked sad. The beer on tap tasted butter scotch. Dirty lines. Just say NO!!!!!!!!!

Had and have high hopes for this place but alas I'm not sure it will make it. Used to be a great bar when it was Fifth Ave but the new owners have changed it to The Fifth and I think I need to revisit it another time to be fair. My first time it was desolate; not many people in the place. Friday night at 9 pm and they were wrapping up trivia as I sat at the bar. The first floor used to have pool tables; now it's one fowling lane, some video games, cornhole, beer pong table and some tables. It was pretty quiet for a bar on a Friday night. My wife ordered a Jack Rose but the bartender didn't know how to make one so I had to look up the recipe and share my phone with her. It was okay. I stuck with a beer but at least they had Christmastown on tap. Didn't attempt the food so not sure about the menu. I do feel with the right group, it might be a right riot for a night. But I wouldn't go looking for fun here unless you bring your own peeps. I will say as I was leaving, one of the bartenders was sitting outside on the curb having a smoke. Not sure if that's what you wanna portray as a worker here. I don't want my tender mixing my drink or grabbing a glass for me if they just had a smoke. It doesn't sit right with non- smokers like myself. Seems unsanitary.

Go here if you don't want to be greeted or waited on until you are there for at least 15 minutes. And definitely go here if you came here full because good luck getting someone to wait on you a second time. After I finally got my drink and food menu after being there for 20 minutes, no one came back to the table for 50 minutes (and counting). Yet multiple waitresses have passed the table (yes I have tried to get their attention but they walked away too fast). This is the second time in a row that this has happened. The first time when I finally got my food it was freezing cold. Don't go here unless you like bad service and cold food.

They did a great job updating the interior. It's a very inviting space with nice touches on the walls. The inside is huge and cavernous which was perfect for our large group. We just came for drinks, and our server was very prompt and friendly. They make a good cocktail and have a wide variety of beer and cocktails. Great addition to the neighborhood and I can't wait to come back.

Love this place! Great for a date night out. My husband and I had a couple drinks and played darts. Such an amazing change of pace from the typical bars in the area. The staff and owners are so friendly too. We will definitely make this a regular spot.

Bartender Amber is awesome. Great burger and cold beer. Great place to see a band. Corn hole on Thursday is fun. Owners are very cool people and very Personable

What happened to the bartenders Karl, Cassie, and Nina?, honestly without them this place feels empty, lifeless, the heart has been squandered since they left. Miss them!!! The new place is okay, but the trio was the only reason I got through my divorce.

Want to get ripped off with lack of portion sizes with regards to food, or have five different clueless employees 'serve' you or have your drink taken away by a careless busser when your not finished with it? Have nothing explained like oh we will scream your full name out twenty five times and expect you to run around and figure out why in the f that is happening?Then to have the rude African American 'bartender' ask if it was correct for zero tip? Yes it is correct- and strangely enough the customer next to us had his order delivered to him and we observed a complete difference in service.... So if you would like to have this experience and overpay for bullshit- it's all yours- Never again for us!!!
