So you think you tried a great burger? They have them in 1/2 pound or a pound. Fresh delicious ground round and buns, all the trimmings like jalapeños, bacon, onions , tomatoes , Swiss cheese and lets try them mushrooms.Sat at P,L. I. 's with good friends and also enjoyed fried battered broccoli and onion rings.Great service by Kevin too. Very reasonable prices. Glad we drove 45 minutes to get there.

Excellent burger joint at a great price where the value proposition for this business is off the wall. The base price for a half pound burger is only $6.25 which includes pickles and onions in the price. Add on toppings, of which there are many to choose from, are an incremental cost and range from $.25 to $.50 for most of the items with the exception of Bacon which is $2.25. The basket of fries I ordered was quite large and cost only $2 and could easily be shared between two people. Lastly, our wine was "Sutter Home" and was brought to us in mini bottles and cost only $4! I actually found this part of the meal to be a bit comical as this was a first for me but it absolutely fit perfectly with the "value" proposition that this restaurant/bar appears to be based upon. Relative to environment the restaurant itself is really more bar than restaurant that has a very relaxed comfortable rustic vibe to it. It defiantly comes across as a corner bar where people know each other, think Cheers, where friends would meet up for drinks. Even the waitress' fit this scenario where we had the friendly talkative young waitress (Shelly Long) and a surly older waitress who didn't like my jokes (Rheas Perlman). All in all we had very nice meal in a relaxing environment and didn't break the bank doing it. If your looking for a good burger joint and don't want to spend a lot of money this place is a must visit especially if you are a value conscious person like me. I am sold on this place and will definately be returning in the very near future.Business sign

Best burger I've had in a long time. Might have tried an appetizer but sign on door said cash only. We hadn't planned ahead. Great fries too.

So the wife and I wanted a good bar burger and she got on FB and some people suggested PLI. We've never been there so we gave it a try. As we're walking up, I see signs on the door and in the window "Cash Only, ATM Inside", immediately this raises red flags in my head. See you'll hear from the store owners " I'm not paying those CC companies " blah, blah, blah. But in reality a lot of the time it's that the CC companies won't do business with them. And lets not forget the ATM, it's not sitting there for free. The store owner gets a kickback for it being there or they own it themselves. Why pay the CC companies a processing fee when you can keep it for yourself.We walk in and stood there for a few minutes, the place is pretty full , staff see us but do nothing. My wife sees a woman clearing a table and asks if we can sit there, the woman says yes. So as we sit waiting, I'm looking around at the place. It's clean, well lit, loud as to be expected, still waiting. I can see most everyone in the bar knows each other, still waiting, and I was reminded of that show Bar Rescue, I was looking at the before scene from that show. Still waiting, we've been sitting there for 10 or 15 minutes at an empty table. No menu no silverware no napkins, nothing. The same woman comes out to clear off an other table next to us and says "I'm not the server, a bunch of people are cashing out so she'll be a few minutes" , so we wait some more. Then my wife go's to the bar to nicely ask if we could get some service or a menu but never got the chance to because all she got was a glance and completely ignored. Wife came back sat down and told me what happened and we still waited for 5 more minutes before I said that's it, lets go. I guess we'll never get to know if it's the best burger in town.

PLI is the best if you want a great bar burger. The tater tots are the best, and the just introduced an expanded menu. Fast service, relaxed atmosphere, great burgers.

This is not a fancy bar, very down to earth bar. Very good food. Very good pour for their drinks (reasonable priced as well)Simple Bar good food/good drinks
