Wasn't what were hoping for or expecting , food was mostly flavorless and bland , tamales were covered in sauce which threw me off from what I'm used to , the tacos were tiny for the price . Now leading up to the lobby there were a few things that caught my eye like the dust build up on fans and the older food on the floor . I'm not trying to be harsh , just keeping it real

Excellent hole in the wall restaurant that's an absolute gem. Really enjoyed our lunch choices - beef burrito, chorizo taco (Mexican style), and chicken tamale. The salsas provided with chips were also great - hot was nice and spicy and mild was just that. Would definitely return to try more dishes and margarita.

This place was "alright". The salsa was good, chips a little thicker than I would like, with a slightly odd taste. The server was pleasant and knowledgable. Food was unremarkable. Decor was usual Mexican flags and hats. You won't starve if you choose this place, but you also won't have a wonderful meal.

Ordered the fish taco platter and the carnitas platter. Both were so delicious and loaded with pico, fresh avocado, fluffy refried beans, and delicious rice. The chips and salsa were also fresh and delicious. Our server was so friendly too! Just want to add that the carnitas meat had this light crust that made them so delicate and delicious. I look forward to coming back here!!

I try to be objective with every review, especially when going to mom-and-pop restaurants. More so, I know that every restaurant that makes recipes from scratch will taste different from other restaurants. In 2024, however, every restaurant has to be scrutinized, given inflation and just how expensive it is to order for a family of four at a restaurant. What used to cost $30.00 now can easily exceed $50.00. Tonight, we wanted enchiladas, and we ordered from Teresita for the first time. I ordered online, but unfortunately, they weren't alerted of our order through Yelp, and it needed to be made. Asking for 15 minutes to complete my order, I agreed and waited. The staff was incredibly nice and apologetic for the wait. I didn't mind - knowing that this really wasn't their fault. Unfortunately, the food wasn't to our liking. The rice was a low-quality Spanish rice with a medicinal taste to it. The guacamole was watered down and lacked any flavor. The enchiladas were cooked using a lot of sugar - yes, sugar. A sweet enchilada was not something I was expecting, and, for our palate, it wasn't something I wanted to eat again. To reiterate, I'm walking into a family-owned restaurant with family recipes. To some, this is a perfectly acceptable dish. For us, I don't think I could see myself coming back given the cost was commensurate to chains that sadly have better quality.

I don't even like Mexican food, but my wife does, so we stopped, and had some of the best food that I ever had. I'm a Mexican food lover now and we eat there at least once a week. Fantastic restaurant and very friendly people. Even if it's not on the menu Rudy will made you what you want. Betty and Michelle make the best, best margaritas, and the beers cold too.

I have been a customer since 2015. The food is some of the best in the area. Portions are good sized and always tastes great. After the shutdown they have expanded into the next storefront and now have a liquor license. Prices have gone up some and the second basket of chips are not free any more (that is mentioned in their menu 7 times) but it is still worth the money. Now my only complaint is they are not open on Sundays and are not open past 8pm. On one of my most recent visits (5-18-23) I had to complain about my bill as the menu prices were less than was on my bill. Now the server/owner did correct part of it, which was great. However, the menu should have been more detailed about the meat option prices for items. That is not discouraging me or my friends from eating there. Lunch specials are great and they are always willing to make your dining experience a good one. Bring your apatite and cash to save the card fees like most businesses are charging these days.

I will say I have never ate here, but I will be coming in soon to try. I was driving and all of a sudden the tornado sirens went off, I whipped it into the first parking lot I saw a Open sign on, which the parking lot was completely empty, they were closing. I ran into the building and told them tornado do you have a basement, I swear I was about ready to have a heart attack! I'm pretty sure they thought I was completely crazy, but they showed me sooo much kindness and got me calmed down, he said it probably just went off because of the high winds. They would have let me stay all night if I needed to. Thank you to everyone in that building! I have never been sooo scared in my life.
