I love a good gyro and when I heard about this place, I wanted to try it so bad. I finally stopped in yesterday and had a chance to eat here, and boy, am I glad I did.Walking in the place is spacious and super clean. Lot's of seating and a menu right inside to study. It was pretty empty here, so I was able to go right to the counter and order. There was a few employees working and I went with the beef/lamb gyro with a side and a drink. (the drinks are an extra charge.) After I paid I got a number to stick on my table and sat down at a booth.When the food came out it looked and tasted wonderful! I chose the diced and seasoned potatoes as my side, and they tasted a bit funny. I ate about 3 and that was it. They didn't taste expired, but maybe they put it on the side of the grill that was just cleaned? Can't tell.Anyway, the gyro was excellent. I also got chips so I liked those. I'm glad that this place opened because it's hard to find a good gyro that isn't at a coney island which I'm sort of burnt out from. They also have many options here and have menu items for larger groups like 4 and 6 people if you're interested. Pricing seems good and overall, a fantastic experience.

If you are looking for a Greek fast casual restaurant in the Troy Rochester area, this is it. They don't have a full Greek menu, with things like lamb shank, pastitio or mousaka, but they do have gyro sandwiches, hummus, grilled chicken, grilled lamb and beef. The side choices are great like potatoes, rice, grilled veggies and cucumber salad. The service here is top notch, very friendly and they will bring your food out to you.Be sure to follow them on Instagram for special, like $5 gyros with a side and chips, or chicken roll ups with a side and chips.

New location, apparently the first in Michigan. Running a $5 special for the Chicken Gyro meal. Regular daily specials are more like $12, so this was a great deal. The good - service was very good. Lots of people checking on you. I won't expect that level of attention on a regular basis, but the cashier was wonderful. The chicken was juicy, plenty of it in the gyro, and roasted veggies as a choice of sides was a nice option. Good, healthy meal.The less than perfect - both items were under seasoned.One final comment. The location is less than ideal if you need to go north on Rochester Road when you leave. Very difficult location to turn left. Conversely, you can get to them from Square Lake by driving behind the medical plaza and past the Fairfield hotel.

Chicken seemed pre-cooked and then thrown on the grill to reheat. Sandwich had all of the sauce in one blob at one end. Overall found it very expensive for the portion and quality.

We went to grand opening and the place was buzzing with people. A great deal for a chicken gyro for $5. You order at the counter and the food is served to you and cleaned up. High tops, booths and tables for seating area. Self service beverage area.

I was really looking forward to this establishment for another place to order a gyro. Unfortunately the gyro meat was so dry and there was barely any tzatziki in the wrap. The tomato cucumber side and roasted potatoes are good. The pasta salad was just ok - needed salt and pepper. The restaurant is clean and bright with high ceilings. It took me a while to download and set up the app and it crashed at the payment. I ended up just placing my order at the counter. I think the owner approached me and offered a complimentary side for the issue. He must've noticed how long I was standing there. He also said they have affordable delivery. I may be back to try the chicken and I'll be sure to ask for extra tzatziki.

I am so so happy Taziki's has finally made its way to Michigan!! I absolutely loved eating at their Morgantown, WV locations and this first location in Michigan tastes exactly the same! The grilled chicken roll ups were just as I remembered. The staff is friendly, and the building kept super clean.

Recently stopped in to try this newly opened Greek Mediterranean inspired restaurant. Inside is very nice, a good vibe. I ordered the grilled lamb gyro. It came with your choice of side and I chose roasted potatoes. The gyro wrap was delicious and so was the roasted potatoes. I recommend stopping by this place and trying it out. I'll be going back again.

I stopped by with some friends for lunch.I had grilled shrimp with Caesar salad and rice. The food was made fresh and the interior was clean and bright. The food came after about 5 minutes, it didn't feel too long. The manager stopped by a couple times just to check on us.I'll try the grilled salmon with potatoes next time.

Review from 11 year old child: (Mom had zero influence on this review) The staff is nice, I got a free drink with my meal, and ultimately, very affordable. Also comfortable seating, and they hardly make you wait for a meal. Not to mention they have a policy where they clean up after you leave. (My family and I still cleaned up though) Cons? Not that big of a selection of foods. This is more of a personal preference, but they didn't have appetizers. (But they don't have to because of the minimum waiting timeframe) Also the cheese in the roll ups tastes a bit artificial. Also there is not many foods that your picky-eater children will jump at. However the pros greatly outweigh the cons, and if you're looking for a short-and-sweet meal, this is the place to go.
