The food was so flavorful and a great quantity for the price as well! Definitely a clean establishment and respectful people. The food came out hot and well packaged so none of my soups even leaked! I definitely recommend this restaurant! And definitely try the lentils soup.

Food is average but there is way better middle eastern around. The fattoush dressing lacks sumac and is very bland and is drenched with dressing and olive oil so it's super soggy. The meat is over seasoned so u can't even taste the meat, too salty. Smoothies were good.

Their food used to be really good, but recently got a chicken shawarma sandwich and the chicken was shredded and extremely dry. I also placed a carry out order over the phone and when I got there, the woman running the register told them I was there and then they started making the sandwich. When I place an order over the phone or online, I expect it to be ready, if not being prepared when I arrive. The prices on all the food went up as well. Very disappointed.

Great food, great service! I've ordered takeout probably 30 times over the last few years, and have never been disappointed. Sandwiches are superb, salads are fresh, and dinners are all well proportioned

For the first time since the first review I ever left, my order was incorrect. When I called to inform them, the boy who answered the phone questioned if I had made my request for no pickles and I politely informed him that I did and always do, since I've never in my life liked pickles. I live three blocks away so I went to get them replaced but when I didn't produce the old sandwiches (I had thrown them away because they both had been poked through) he said he'd have to charge me for new ones. I hadn't brought the sandwiches or my wallet since I was only coming from down the street. He reiterated that he "didn't hear" me ask for no pickles, trying hard to deny any responsibility and it was beginning to become insulting, as if it was an argument or something. I kept assuring him I go there somewhat frequently and always order them the same and even mentioned I assume his mothers name who I am familiar with as a customer. I went back home to get the shawarmas but I was irritated at this point by his constant attempts to avoid conceding that he'd made a simple mistake. That was it for me, I had been back and forth there three times and didn't deserve to be treated like I was trying to scam sandwiches. When I returned I began to tell him that I had been a good customer for years and never once complained (at all!!!) until this point and that he was very rude about this entire ordeal. He began to become rude and childish, practically throwing the money at me, i called him childish and it escalated to him screaming at me. Apparently I'm now banned! I got some video of it, I was mean at the end to the kid though so I'm not gonna embarrass him. From his initial dubious questioning and denying that he'd heard me make a simple request I'd made many times, to being told that I'd be charged for them to be replaced without the old ones, this entire exchange was pretty insulting especially considering I'd never had an issue with them before (and I even told him that on the phone). You can tell when people need to mature and this was a demonstration in that. So that was the last time I ever went to Taylor Kabob. Beware the fragile ego on the little one, he's very lucky his parents built a successful business because he is not equipped for his own independent success. Adios!

I will drive 30 minutes to come and get the hummus from Taylor Kabob as it's the best in downriver. As an East Dearborn native, I have had a lot of Lebanese food and this is definitely in my top 5. I try to stop by every time I'm in the area. Every time I bring their hummus to parties everyone raves about it. The food is always amazing and the owners are very friendly. It's primarily takeout but they do have a few tables. Highly recommend!

I have very mixed feelings about this particular restaurant. On the one hand, their menu offers some really delicious food that I've enjoyed in the past. However, the last time I visited, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the chicken dish, and when it arrived, it was rubbery and inedible. I had to give it to my dog, who didn't seem to mind it. The soup was decent, but it was the only redeeming factor of my meal. In my opinion, the food is not worth the cost. I know that there are plenty of Middle Eastern restaurants around the area, but this one is the closest to me. I just wish their food was more consistent and less expensive. I understand that it can be tough in this economy, but if they're going to charge more than the others, they need to make sure they are putting out a quality product. I didn't bother to complain or call in, as I didn't think it would make much of a difference. However, I might give them one more try before I decide to write them off completely.

Only the very best Ma n Pa Middle Eastern Food Downriver, has hundreds of regular customers. We've been a dozen plus times to eat inside the quaint dining room. They do a mega amount of take out business from open till close. Dad a Master Chef with decades of experience, Mom runs front of house and adding her special recipes. Ordered our favorite platter for 2 truly feed's 4 easy, lots of leftovers. The platter be Kafta, Chicken Tawook, Lamb Kabob, Chicken Breast on a bed of Rice with veggies. Also Hummus, Toum, Tahini, Fatoush Salad and Bread. She added a bowl of Lentils Soup for the Win. Such a sweet couple treating all customers like family. Great busy location on Ecorse road in Taylor, you really must try. See the great reviews around the web Yelp, Google and Facebook. #taylorkabob @taylorkabob1 #platterfortwo #middleeasternfood #kebob #lentilssoup #kafta #taylormi #downriverfriendseat

Wow, I am actually surprised and impressed, this chicken kabob wrap is amazing delicious. Idk what this sauce is but it's not the traditional garlic paste...it's really good!! And to think I started to leave the parking lot and go somewhere else. I will definitely be back!! I would've gotten a pic but I ate too fast, maybe
