I went to Taqueria Victoria for the first time. As a Latina, I needed to try the tacos al pastor, and they didn't disappoint! The servers are very nice and friendly. It looks like a family-owned taqueria, which makes it more like a home-cooked meal to me. The bathroom is clean, and they have some traditional Mexican candy you can buy at the entrance. I will definitely come back to try more from their menu!

When I came here, I ordered the taco dinner, which comes with 3 tacos, rice, and beans: I got al pastor, birria, and carnitas. - The al pastor had pretty good flavor, but was on the dry side. Carnitas was dry and bland, birria dry and bland (and no consommé like it's supposed to). I had to add salsa for it to have some flavor (the red salsa with the chips didn't add much of any flavor, just some moisture - had to add the salsa verde which was a little hot for my liking, but added the moisture and flavor the tacos needed)- Refried beans tasted canned to me - strong flavor, wasn't a fan - Chips were good - tasted homemade, crunchy, held up well to the salsa, not too greasy. Salsa with chips was also good - not too much cilantro, even had some green bell pepper Service was pretty good, they checked in regularly to see how we were doing - I appreciate the customization options (was able to get lettuce and tomato instead of cilantro/onion) and the fact that they got everything right. They make good use of the small space in terms of table layout and being able to fit a good number of people inside. With many other great Mexican options, I don't think I would go out of my way to come here, but I wouldn't object to it if someone else wanted to go.

Small inside finish area. 7 tables inside. Limited parking on either side of the building. Waiter is friendly and attentive. The two hotter salsas are good. We ordered a large guacamole, mandarin Jarrito, 3 chicken taco dinner with double beans, chicken flauta dinner with double beans as well. $37.42. The house salsa is so-so, chips are big and crunchy at least. The chicken tacos are okay, tiny pieces of meat, quite dry though. The waiter told me the chicken is dry because they are grilled. Ok. The chicken flautas aren't bad, more like taquito sized and got soft and mushy with the tomatoes and beans next to them. The guacamole isn't bad, so that's something. The large guacamole is quite small, it's what I would have considered to be a small side plate of it. The beans are quite smooth, not so yummy.

Service was great, food was good, but lacked some flavor. Nothing was necessarily bad, it just wasn't something that would make me want to go back and try it, again. Prices are reasonable. We tried several different tacos.

We got takeout from here to try something new since my bf and I do our date night in FH at a local brewery. I didn't pick it up so I can't speak to the customer service but the food was very disappointing. I'm very particular when it comes to Mexican food and the reviews gave me high hopes. My bf ordered the chimichanga dinner and it was so incredibly greasy, pretty gross. I ordered carne asada tacos and I didn't get actual tacos, but rather a giant piece of overcooked meat with no seasoning at all, and a side of tortillas. Keep in mind I had plastic cutlery so I honestly gave up and barely ate any of it because it was so difficult to cut and eat. Overall, I don't think I'm coming back. If I do, I'll try something else. Oh, and it was 30 bucks for two meals. No thanks.Ps now I'm getting constant emails and texts from them for coupons.

Pass this charming, seemingly out of place restaurant frequently while on my way to ice cream. Every time I pass I say I need to stop there. Today, it was my purpose to stop there & i'm SO HAPPY I did. Dined in the small, yet cozy front of the restaurant. Waitress was attentative. The food was DELICIOUS! My only qualm is that my order had Big in the name but it was normal. And horchata icing on the cake.

(TIP) If this is your first visit, please review the menu before you go in on a busy time. Don't be that person that holds everyone up. Also if you have pick up, there's a sign that says to wait outside (if it's crowded of course). There isn't enough room for all the diners and all the take outs. It's not mean, but the taquiera knows its strengths and weaknesses (limited space) and we just gotta help them out. Be mindful of other patrons and the hard working staff. This is my FAVORITE taco place in the Farmington area. Mesa is conveniently placed by Fresh Thyme but if you're on Grand River, look for the A + W and the establishment is right next door. Taqueria Victoria is a small mom and pop shop that is bussling-especially during lunch when you can get two tacos, rice and beans for $8. They serve lengua (tongue) if you want to be brave (it really is good so I highly recommend it-if you're willing to pay for the upcharge). It's your standard meat, onion and cilantro place. If you want the cheese and lettuce, you can have it for an upcharge but that's just not their style. I don't have any pictures even if Yelp honors that I'm a dutchess of this place every now and then. The instinct to scarf everything down is too strong, too tempting.... when you come to a place like this. One because it doesn't photograph well. Two because... well by the time you remember to take a picture the food is long gone. You ate it. You failed. lol. And it's a happy thing. I'll be back next week. See you soon!

Our food was delicious! I had the Birria and steak tacos with rice and beans and it was delicious. The service was super fast and friendly. Our server recommended the chicken and pork tacos, which we will definitely be back to try! Also the tres leches cake was amazing.

The food is always good, there has never been an 'off' day for this restaurant. It's also pretty quick for delivery and pick up.
